Democrats are circling like sharks with the scent of blood in the water after the Biden regime’s unprecedented escalation against former President Donald J. Trump with the relentless U.S. Rep. Adam Schiff along with another top House lawmaker calling for an “immediate review and damage assessment” of documents confiscated by the FBI during their raid on Mar-a-Lago.
On Saturday, the California Democrat who heads up the House Intelligence Committee along with Rep. Carolyn Maloney the chairwoman of the House Oversight Committee wrote a joint letter to Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines requesting the assessment.
“Former President Trump’s conduct has potentially put our national security at grave risk. This issue demands a full review, in addition to the ongoing law enforcement inquiry,” the letter reads, potentially setting the table for yet another congressional show trial of the ex-POTUS, one that with the allegations of violations of the Espionage Act including purloined nuclear secrets could accomplish what the J6 committee failed, grabbing the attention of the American people.
News of the letter to DNI Haines comes after Maloney hailed the what some have referred to as a “Gestapo-style” storming of the home of a former U.S. president as well as the top opposition leader, issuing a statement through the Oversight Committee suggesting that Trump is already guilty as charged without the benefit of due process and attacking Republican critics of the raid.
“No one – not even former President Trump – can threaten America’s national security without being held accountable. I applaud the Attorney General, the Department of Justice, and our law enforcement professionals for taking these allegations seriously and following the rule of law, and I urge my Republican colleagues to end their dangerous and irresponsible attacks on law enforcement,” she wrote.

Prior to the release of the search warrant, Schiff was up to his typical dastardly behavior with sinister innuendo about nuclear secrets stashed away at Mar-a-Lago.
“I hope the search warrant will be public soon,” he tweeted shortly before the document’s big unveiling. “Initial reports of more than a dozen boxes of materials, some marked classified, are deeply concerning.”
“If public reporting is correct, and some do pertain to nuclear secrets, that would be an even graver risk to national security,” he added, laying the groundwork for Russiagate on steroids.

“Shifty Schiff,” as Trump has tagged the Democrat, is slated to hit the Sunday morning talk show circuit today where he will likely further stir the pot.
“The facts that are now public make clear that a damage assessment is appropriate. If you have not already done so, we request that you instruct the National Counterintelligence Executive, in consultation with the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community and other Inspectors General as appropriate, to conduct a damage assessment,” the Schiff-Maloney letter reads.
“In addition, we ask that you commit to providing an appropriate classified briefing on the conduct of the damage assessment as soon as possible. Even as the Justice Department’s investigation proceeds, ensuring that we take all necessary steps to protect classified information and mitigate the damage to national security done by its compromise is critically important.”
