Trump raid was an INSIDE JOB: Biden’s FBI had a mole at Mar-a-Lago, report

New details have emerged about the FBI’s shocking raid on former President Donald J. Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence, an unprecedented targeting of a political opponent by the Biden regime that many have rightly condemned as something that is typically seen in a banana republic.

According to a bombshell report, the feds had a mole operating on the inside who was providing details on the location of allegedly classified documents kept on the premises in the raid which the media has gone to painstaking lengths to portray was about the Presidential Records Act and not an act of political retribution from the White House which would have been a dramatic escalation in Washington’s war on Trump.

The exclusive report from left-leaning Newsweek cites the usual anonymous officials who said that the feds were being fed tips from an unidentified confidential informant “who was able to identify what classified documents former President Trump was still hiding and even the location of those documents.”

In the article, which has a strong smell of damage control following intense backlash, one of the unnamed sources said to be a “senior Justice Department official who is a 30-year veteran of the FBI” told the outlet that “FBI decision-makers in Washington and Miami” sought to execute the raid during a time when Trump was out of town to deny him “a photo opportunity or a platform from which to grandstand,” but that things went off the rails.

“What a spectacular backfire,” the official said about the resultant firestorm. “I know that there is much speculation out there that this is political persecution, but it is really the best and the worst of the bureaucracy in action,” the anonymous individual told Newsweek.

“They wanted to punctuate the fact that this was a routine law enforcement action, stripped of any political overtones, and yet [they] got exactly the opposite,” the source added.

According to the outlet, “Both senior government officials say the raid was scheduled with no political motive, the FBI solely intent on recovering highly classified documents that were illegally removed from the White House. Preparations to conduct such an operation began weeks ago, but in planning the date and time, the FBI Miami Field Office and Washington headquarters were focused on the former president’s scheduled return to Florida from his residences in New York and New Jersey.”

“They were seeking to avoid any media circus,” a second anonymous source identified as “a senior intelligence official who was briefed on the investigation and the operation,” said.

“So even though everything made sense bureaucratically and the FBI feared that the documents might be destroyed, they also created the very firestorm they sought to avoid, in ignoring the fallout,” the second individual added.

The unnamed senior DOJ official also denied that Biden’s hatchet man, Attorney General Merrick Garland did not sign off on the Gestapo-style raid of his boss’s top political adversary.

Newsweek adds that, “The senior Justice Department source says that Garland was regularly briefed on the Records Act investigation, and that he knew about the grand jury and what material federal prosecutors were seeking. He insists, though, that Garland had no prior knowledge of the date and time of the specific raid, nor was he asked to approve it, ‘I know it’s hard for people to believe,’ says the official, “but this was a matter for the U.S. Attorney and the FBI.'”

Some reacted strongly to the report, including Senator Ted Cruz who took to Twitter to write, “The FBI is AGAIN sending undercover informants to target President Trump?”

“It’s the Crossfire Hurricane debacle, all over again,” the Texas Republican wrote. “This time, likely, at the behest of the Attorney General.”

Others weighed in on the Newsweek report:

Trump took to his Truth Social platform to circumvent the corrupt media with an account of what went down in South Florida on Monday.

“The FBI and others from the Federal Government would not let anyone, including my lawyers, be anywhere near the areas that were rummaged and otherwise looked at during the raid on Mar-a-Lago,” he wrote.

“Everyone was asked to leave the premises, they wanted to be be left alone, without any witnesses to see what they were doing, taking, or hopefully not, ‘planting.” Why did they STRONGLY insist on having nobody watching them, everybody out? Obama and Clinton were never ‘raided,’ despite big disputes!” he wrote.

The wagons are being circled around Garland and the idea that both the White House and the nation’s top law enforcement official didn’t know about the politically explosive ramifications of dialing up an order for government goons to search the home of a former U.S. president and to do so in such a manner isn’t passing the smell test.
