Trump sticks Biden with blame for raid: He knew, ‘like he knew all about Hunter’s deals’

Try as they might, former President Donald Trump isn’t buying the White House’s denial that President Joe Biden had any advanced knowledge of the unprecedented raid on his Florida home, and one need only look at Hunter Biden for proof.

On Monday, more than 30 FBI agents executed a search warrant of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida seizing papers from the location. While outlets contended those documents were part of an ongoing investigation into alleged improper handling of classified information after leaving office, those same talking heads covered for the current administration as CNN’s Dana Bash stated, “They were blindsided. They found out when we all did.”

“Given how buttoned up and cautious [AG] Merrick Garland is, especially with something as sticky as this, it’s hard to imagine they gave the White House a heads-up,” she went on. However, Trump wasn’t buying it.

Late Tuesday, the former president took to Truth Social to argue, “Biden knew all about this, just like he knew all about Hunter’s ‘deals.'”

'Biden knew all about this, just like he knew all about Hunter's "deals,"' the ex-president posted to his Truth Social website

As Trump pointed out, for as long as there have been concerns over Joe Biden’s ties to his son Hunter’s business deals, there have been nothing but denials and deflections.

Time and again, those denials have been squashed by the facts like visitors logs showing Hunter’s business partners visiting then-Vice President Biden at the White House and his official residence.

Trump wasn’t alone in asserting this either as former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon had argued that, at the very least, Biden’s chief of staff Ron Klain had to have known of and approved the raid ahead of time.

“This had to go up to the White House to be approved. Absolutely. Anybody saying it didn’t is a liar,” he told Fox News’ Will Cain. “This had to go up the chain of command, through Merrick Garland to Ron Klain, at least and [FBI Director Christopher] Wray and these guys.”

Despite that argument, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was sent out Tuesday to cover for the current administration, contending, “No one at the White House was given a heads up,” and more specifically, “No. The president was not briefed, and he was not aware of it.”

Obviously, that’s the stance they have to take because if the alternative, as many suspect, is indeed true, then Trump’s earlier suggestion on Truth Social is equally so.

“A horrible thing that took place yesterday at Mar-a-Lago,” he wrote ahead of accusing Biden of being in the know beforehand. “We are no better than a third world country, a banana republic. It is a continuation of Russia, Russia, Russia, Impeachment Hoax #1, Impeachment Hoax #2, the no collusion Mueller Report, and more. To make matters worse it is all, in my opinion, a coordinated attack with Radical Left Democrat state & local D.A.’s & A.G.’s.”

The former president called the raid a 'coordinated attack with Radical Left Democrat state & local D.A.'s & A.G.'s.' Trump is facing legal problems in Georgia and New York over the scheme to turn over the 2020 election and real estate fraud, respectively

Trump later went on to state, as he often has, that the attack on him was really an attack on the American people.

“What took place yesterday, and long before, was an unprecedented infringement of the rights of every American citizen,” he said. “Scam after Scam, year after year, it is all the Radical Left Democrats really know, it is their lifeblood–they have not shame. Our Country is paying a very big price!!!”
