Fox News co-host Geraldo Rivera thought it would be a great idea to tweet out his dream Republican ticket, which sounds like a nightmare to many.
On Monday, Rivera took to Twitter to discuss former Speaker of the House Paul Ryan’s reaction to the January 6 riot. According to Ryan, he was “sobbing” while watching the “disturbing” events unfold.
This description moved Rivera and apparently prompted him to think forward to 2024 and the presidential pairing that would “help restore sanity and balance to the world.”
“Happy Monday, just reading Paul Ryan’s reaction to 1/6. Made me think what a great winning 2024 ticket Romney/Ryan would be to help restore sanity and balance to the world,” he wrote.

But despite Ryan’s emotional outpouring, not everyone was convinced he would be a good Vice President. Reactions on Twitter came swiftly and were quite harsh, with rebukes from both sides of the aisle:
