A reporter for a Catholic news outlet found out firsthand that President Joe Biden has little concern for the rule of law or his reported faith when compared to his devotion to the progressive movement after White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told the correspondent where he could take his questions.
During Friday’s White House press briefing, Jen Klein, the Director of the White House Gender Policy Council, was brought in to address the president’s executive orders on abortion access in light of the overturn of Roe v. Wade. As previously reported, Biden’s orders attempt to circumvent state laws prohibiting abortions in the name of access to “reproductive health care services,” but his authority to do so remains in question.
Eternal Word Television Network’s (EWTN) White House correspondent Owen Jensen attempted to obtain an answer on this issue for the Catholic network but was repeatedly silenced and was told to “take a seat in the back” by Jean-Pierre. After Klein finished her brief statement Jensen spoke up several times when he hadn’t been called on with one exchange beginning, “So, ma’am, pro-life Americans – one question.”
“Sir, you’re being rude,” the press secretary chided as the correspondent continued, “Pro-life Americans-”
“Sir, you’re being rude to your colleagues” and “Excuse me-” Jean-Pierre offered as Jensen insisted “All the questions you’re taking are pro-abortion. So let me ask you this question. Senator Marco Rubio-”
The press secretary attempted to move on naming another reporter, but Jensen carried on, “-is demanding the federal government not provide sick leave to federal employees who travel to get abortions. Should – he says that would violate the Hyde Amendment. So, what’s your response to it?”
“Sir, take a seat in the back,” the press secretary demanded. “You’re being rude to your colleagues and our guest.”
“I’m not…I can stand right here and ask my questions…I can ask my question. She doesn’t want to answer it,” he countered before adding later when Klein left the briefing room, “Will you take any questions from a pro-life American audience at all? No? You’ll just walk away? Okay.”
Jensen’s reference to Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) made note of the lawmakers’ concerns that had been voiced in a letter to Office of Personnel Management Director Kiran Ahuja where the senator wrote, “It is noticeable, therefore, given the obvious intent of the guidance, that nowhere in the guidance is the phrase ‘reproductive services,’ ‘abortion’ or any other abortion-related language. One is left to believe these phrases were intentionally omitted in this guidance by lawyers in the executive branch to circumvent Congressionally-mandated Hyde protections, which bars federal funds from being used to pay for most abortions.”
“The Biden Administration’s actions and statements over the last several days are focused on undermining pro-life states and now they are even willing to violate longstanding federal law prohibiting the use of taxpayer monies to fund abortions or abortion services,” Rubio added.
In addition to the senator calling out Biden for his executive overreach, Biden has routinely been called out for his stance on abortion which stands counter to his representation as only the second Catholic to be elected president.

In fact, it had been suggested that Biden was “more faithful to Planned Parenthood than the Catholic Church” so it’s no wonder that, as Jensen pointed out, only pro-abortion questions were being fielded.
BREAKING: Joe Biden will sign an executive order today to promote killing more babies in abortions. He's more faithful to Planned Parenthood than the Catholic Church.
