Chelsea Handler fact-checked by NJ alma mater following claim 3 abortions kept her out of HS Hall of Fame

In an unintended display of all-consuming narcissism, comedian and 47-year-old adult Chelsea Handler claimed her New Jersey high school “refused” to include her in its high school Hall of Fame, and in Chelsea’s Chelsea-consumed mind it must be because she’s had three abortions.

And for that, Handler wanted her fans to harass the school.

Handler spent the week as the guest host of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” and she started it off on the Monday following the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade by boasting that she had three abortions while she was a student at Livingston High School.

During Tuesday’s monologue, she asked, “Do you know what men on the internet had to say about that? I don’t because I don’t give a f**k.”

Being Kimmel’s liberal-leaning audience, the crowd erupted with applause.

“But my old high school does,” Handler informed her viewers. “I recently found out that my high school in New Jersey, Livingston High School, is refusing to induct me into their alumni Hall of Fame.”

The school, it turns out, has produced a number of celebrities. Handler noted that “Seinfeld” star Jason Alexander and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie were given places in the Hall of Fame, but she has not received the same honor.

“Apparently, the school is upset about how much I talk about my abortions,” she surmised, “so I decided to start a grassroots campaign.”

Because with crime, inflation, staffing shortages, food shortages, energy shortages, and a divided nation, the thing Americans need to make time for in their day is boosting Chelsea Handler’s ego.

“You should donate to Planned Parenthood, and then march, and then vote, but after you’re done with that, go online and tweet a message to the school district for my alma mater @LivSchools,” she directed the audience. “Let them know how you feel about this gross injustice and use the hashtag #Hall4Handler.”

Perhaps most disturbing is the fact that many fans, eager to support the proud abortion aficionado, did just that.

Their demands of the high school offered a unique look into the minds of Jimmy Kimmel’s easily-directed demographics.

But here’s the thing:

As Fox News reports, Handler’s omission from Livingston’s Hall of Fame has nothing to do with how many babies’ lives she ended while still in high school. What with the COVID pandemic and all, they just haven’t made inducting her their main priority.

“On behalf of the current Livingston Public Schools administrative team, Ms. Handler was not refused for the LEF Hall of Fame,” said Livingston Public Schools Communications and Community Outreach Coordinator Michelle Bent on Wednesday.

While Handler claimed she “just found out” that the “Seinfeld” guy was in the Hall of Fame but she wasn’t, it appears her representatives were begging the school to honor her back in February.

Apparently, Chelsea just didn’t like their answer.

“Following an email exchange with her representatives in February/March 2022 about how the district could honor Ms. Handler and extended conversations with the Livingston Education Foundation (LEF), the district told her representatives that she would be considered by the LEF the next time candidates are considered,” Bent explained.

“It has been several years since the LEF has nominated and inducted new individuals into the Livingston High School Hall of Fame,” she continued. “The LEF has expressed that it is looking forward to bringing the Hall of Fame event back soon. At that time, it can formally nominate and induct new LHS alumni.”
