There are many who have attempted to present intellectual or ethical arguments in support of Roe v. Wade and in defense of the “right” to abortion, but the “beyond gross” considerations raised by Vice President Kamala Harris would certainly not qualify as any of those.
Sitting down for an interview with CNN’s Dana Bash on Monday, Harris’ attempt to ingratiate herself to abortion activists was built on the canard that the overturning of Roe via the ruling on Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization was somehow the removal of a constitutional right.
“The court actually took a constitutional right that has been recognized for half a century and took it from the women of America,” she argued.
“That’s shocking, when you think about it, in terms of what that means, in terms of democratic principles, in terms of the ideals upon which we were founded, about liberty, about freedom,” she carried on before she used as many qualifiers as she could think of to assert that she was indeed expertly qualified to discuss the issue because of her womanhood. “You know, I thought about it as a parent. We have two children who are in their 20s, a son and a daughter. I thought about it as a godparent of teenagers. I thought of it as an aunt of pre-school children.”
“And a woman yourself,” Bash offered helping the vice president pinpoint the actual term she was after.
“And a woman myself, and the daughter of a woman, and a granddaughter of a woman,” Harris smugly rattled off.
Kamala Harris is qualifying her opinion on the Dobbs outcome by explaining that she's a woman, her mother was a woman, and her grandmother was a woman.

Wow, very deep as usual with her.

Oh…so NOW everyone knows what a woman is. Got it. https://t.co/OaiPYqemn1

“I’m pretty sure she’s not a biologist,” Nick Fondacaro of the Media Research Center pointed out. Evidently, that is not a requirement when determining issues regarding what is or isn’t a life.
and i also am not a biologist-nor do I work at ancestry.com-but I will bet a bitcom for a coors light that her great grandmother was also a woman

But, what really caught the attention of the masses was how Harris went on to divert from the typical focus of how women are impacted, to what this would mean to men across the nation.
“If you are a parent of sons, do think about what this means for the life of your son and what that will mean in terms of the choices he will have,” she stated with a suggestive gleam in her eye.
This is beyond gross. With a knowing nod and grin, the Vice President asks you to think about what it means for the life of your son if he doesn't have the opportunity to convince the mother of his child to kill it in the womb. Yes, let's think about that, shall we? https://t.co/Taqzgk0DHv

“This is beyond gross,” Scot Bertram of Hillsdale radio wrote. “With a knowing nod and grin, the Vice President asks you to think about what it means for the life of your son if he doesn’t have the opportunity to convince the mother of his child to kill it in the womb. Yes, let’s think about that, shall we?”
The message from Harris couldn’t be clearer that, to paraphrase former President Barack Obama, men shouldn’t have to bear the burden of a baby. Like wiping away student debt, major life decisions shouldn’t have any consequences as far as Democrats are concerned. Or, in other words, abortion is a boon to the hookup culture of America.
She accidentally reveals that abortion is the greatest benefit to men. https://t.co/T2jh6RDGeU

That is an interesting point. When did marriages really start going downhill? It may have been about that time.

At its core though, as College Fix editorial assistant Christopher White pointed out, Harris’ stance is disgusting, “Eww. Not a good way of framing that issue.”
