Payne blasts Yellen’s comments on abortion and economy: ‘Would mean the near extinction of black people in America’

Fox Business financial analyst Charles Payne tore into Secretary of the Treasury Janet Yellen while appearing on Fox & Friends Wednesday, getting fired up over her claim that abortion is actually good for the economy and how that kind of sentiment could lead to the “near extinction of black people in America.”
“Yesterday, Janet Yellen, who is our secretary of the treasury, she was up on Capitol Hill and she had an extraordinary claim that said that if abortion went away, it would be bad for the economy,” co-host Steve Doocy recounted.
“Eliminating the right of women to make decisions when and whether to have children would have very damaging effects on the economy and would set women back decades,” Yellen claimed.
“Bad effect on the economy…worse effect on the baby,” Doocy pointed out.

“Yeah, you know, they’re trying to make this an economic piece. Here’s one of the things I did some research on. Assuming you lost 400,000 people a year through abortion, over a 40-year period, 15 million people… that works out to 10 million workers. Lost economic activity up to 235 billion dollars. Lost tax income of 10 to 33 billion dollars. In other words, what she’s saying is illogical,” Payne contended.
“And also, have you guys thought because later on, she spoke about… you know they always bring up minorities and how this specifically harms minorities and it’s so amazing to me to promote abortion to young black women and still say we need open borders because we need people to come in to fill jobs,” he noted.
“Wait a minute! Hold on! You’re telling me not to have a kid in the greatest, richest country in the world because you would be harmed financially but we’ve got to let people in from other countries to work those open jobs?! It’s so nonsensical! It’s absolutely ridiculous and I don’t know why… why anyone keeps falling for it! This is the part that blows my mind… it’s like they don’t like you. They don’t want you to be born. They don’t want your children to be born,” he railed.
“Putting everything that Janet Yellen said together, black women… black people… you thought if we went the last hundred years with her philosophy, that young poor people, mostly young black women should not have children, there’d be hardly any black people in this country. But the good news is according to Janet Yellen, those folks who were born would be in a great economy!” he continued.
“I mean, just think about what she’s saying,” Payne pointed out, going on to posit that it was the left’s ideal economic utopia not to have any black people in it and that was the game plan.

He also discussed Yellen’s flawed mathematical formula and Tim Scott’s statement that having grown up in poverty, he was glad to be here.
“In many cases, abortions are of teenage women – particularly low-income and often black — who aren’t in a position to be able to care for children, have unexpected pregnancies, and it deprives them from the ability to often continue their education to later participate in the workforce,” Yellen had responded to Scott while being questioned on abortion. “There is a spillover into the labor force participation. It means the children will grow up in poverty and do worse themselves.”
“I’ll just simply say that as a guy raised by a black woman in abject poverty, I am thankful to be here…” Scott (R-S.C.) responded which prompted Payne’s comments during the segment.

Hellen was completely off base and out of line….she should stay out of the politics of the day and try to concentrate on economics DESPITE her shortcomings in it!
No one cares about her views on abortion.
