Peer tells teachers parents at fault if trans students don’t ‘present in the way you think they need to’

A self-described “queer” teacher is facing scrutiny and anger over a stunning video he posted to his TikTok in which he seems to advise other teachers to indoctrinate their students further if they don’t act transgender enough.

“Teachers this is just a reminder that if you have a trans student who doesn’t present in the way that you think they need to, that’s probably from a place where their parents aren’t super supportive and they need more support from you,” the teacher, a biological male, says in the now-viral TikTok video.

The TikTok account that posted it, @justaqueerteacher, has since been made private, but copies of the original video remain on Twitter.

Critics say this is a perfect example of teachers indoctrinating students with their personal ideology.

Notice how the teacher’s remark focuses on what a teacher thinks about their student versus what their student thinks about themself.

The premise is that if the teacher thinks the student isn’t behaving as transgender as the teacher has deemed appropriate, then the teacher needs to offer so-called “support.”

Except that this support, critics say, is nothing but indoctrination and grooming rooted in pseudoscience (i.e., the teacher’s own unlicensed judgment):

Notice also how @justaqueerteacher tries to blame parents for a student not acting transgender enough.

This, critics say, is yet another example of, one, teachers making parents their enemies, and two, teachers acting like their students are their own children.

Unfortunately, @justaqueerteacher is not a bug or anomaly but rather a feature, in that America appears to be littered with paid teachers just like him.

Twitter accounts like EITC and LibsOfTikTok constantly find and then post TikTok videos of teachers eagerly promoting their methods of indoctrinating children.

In some cases, EITC and LibsOfTikTok’s work has led to teachers being fired.

Take Tyler Wrynn, a former 8th grade teacher from Oklahoma who was fired after LibsOfTikTok drew attention to a TikTok video of him telling children that if their parents don’t accept their supposed transgender identity, then “f–k them — I’m your parents now.”

Yet an untold number of additional teachers have yet to be exposed and/or fired.

  2. 30 year teacher, union president, etc. and I support our LGB… community. Yes, this is grooming and yes, it borders on pedophilia. Support, yes(or at least find the correct support for them, but encourage(indoctrinate), you are a pedophile.

  5. Too bad every school that has these transgenders teaching kids doesn’t also have at least one conservative John Wayne badass gym teacher that could find some persuasive way to teach the groomers about the errors of their sick child abusing ways.

ALL the parents who care AND are following the Biblical mandate of “raising your child in the way he should go” plus being responsible for that child’s education & upbringing should all immediately pull their children out of any public school or school that recieves government funding as the “Big Brother” has control.
    They should immediately find a good private (Christian if leaning that direction) school. Most of these schools have some sort of tuition help (ours has several venues). If this isn’t financially possible, then start a homeschool co-op with a couple other families (I did this with my 5 children).
    Somehow, take charge of your children’s education as YOU are responsible for it, not the school or teachers.

  8. All of these teachers need to.be fired. We don’t need any gay or trans teachers teaching in the classroom today. They should be fully removed.

  9. The inconsistency isn’t lost on me. Gender is a spectrum, they tell us. And then they insist that there aren’t degrees of “transness”. Hypothetically, why can’t I, as a biological male, just be a little bit girly? Only a touch, just enough to make normal people uncomfortable, and leave it at that? What’s lying under their worldview to say that’s not acceptable? Why do they have to insist on making me even girlier? Could it be that, now they’re in power, they’re just acting on their neurotic inability to grapple with ambiguity?

  10. Sorry, but why should everyone have to remember the pronouns for every person they meet?

    1. Because affirmation is the best medicine, after laughter, which has been effectively banned.

      In all seriousness, it does have to do with affirming people in their subjective (and thus ungrounded/ unhinged) identity. Today’s willing self, what replaced our belief in a rational ego (there’s probably a book about this somewhere, if only I could find it), proves to be quite fragile, more than what it replaced; in general, the individual can’t keep up believing something he knows isn’t true all by his lonesome, even when it makes him feel better. This is also one reason why transitioning with chemicals and surgery is often so important.

    1. Bearing in mind the pedophilila applies only to those who are pre-pubescent. A person with an untoward interest in, say, teenagers is not a pedophile.

        1. He’s just appealing to a recognized distinction between pedophilia and ephebophilia. And I have no problem with that, I think the penalties should be different depending on how old the victim is. Still, ephebophiles shouldn’t be let into a school environment, for the safety of adolescents.

    1. Do you not realize that some of the children are, or will come to be, gay? Almost every gay adult went through school as a gay student. (Some do not come to realize that they are gay until they are adults.)

Bring back the days where one keeps his/her them/it’s sexual preference private! School is not where it belongs. You need to talk about this go see a counselor or a shrink the later especially since it’s a mental thing not a physical thing…..

    1. Except that “everyone” has never had top keep his/her them/its sexual orientation private. Think about it. Have you ever had to do that?
