Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military college, is getting very bad press and is being investigated by Vermont police after women’s rugby team members allegedly engaged in the hazing of a teammate, “branding and waterboarding” the victim after getting her drunk.
Police responded to a call on March 20 involving someone being held at knifepoint, according to court documents. The woman said she thought team members had broken into her room, so she grabbed the knife for protection. She was not clear on the details because of her inebriation.
The girl copped to being severely drunk when her fellow teammates decided to take a pair of heated pliers and brand the girl according to court documents. There was also a video on the girl’s phone showing a woman being reportedly waterboarded.
The victim was found in Dodge Hall. A witness checked on her several times the night of the incident. The last time she checked on her the door to the victim’s room was locked and she was found by a window covered in urine.
The school is now investigating the matter according to Director of Media Relations Daphne Larkin who commented on it during an interview with Fox News on Monday.
Norwich President Dr. Mark Anarumo penned a letter to the campus community explaining that once the investigations are complete, the school will take “legal action and disciplinary measures,” according to Fox News.

“Hazing and related negative behavior that puts student health and safety at risk is contrary to Norwich University’s Guiding Values,” he stated in the letter. “It is not and will not be tolerated.”
Conducting the investigation are student affairs staffers, an independent investigator, and a number of local law enforcement agencies.
Anarumo was adamant that the school was fully cooperating with the police, but due to privacy concerns, some information would require subpoenas or warrants.
“While Norwich University has fully cooperated with all law enforcement agencies, including the Northfield Police, Department, we have continued to ensure the constitutional rights and privacy protections of our students and employees are respected,” he noted. “Law enforcement officials can sometimes become confused about the extent to which we may respond to their requests, but this in no way should be viewed as a lack of cooperation.”
“Subpoena and warrant processes ensure law enforcement activities on campus are conducted lawfully and ensure our community members’ constitutional protections are preserved,” he explained. “They do not represent and should not be construed as a lack of cooperation.
This is tame compared to what used to happen in the corps.

The Barre Montpelier Times Argus is reporting that Northfield Police Chief John Helfant stated that officers had been denied access to interview students in their dorm rooms on Friday concerning the case.
“NU was only willing to have students come away from their residences and meet us at a conference room,” he claimed. “There are a host of issues which this presents for law enforcement.”
The school is the historic birthplace of the Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) and was founded in 1819.

There’s nothing feminine about most women nowadays. They either are dykes or they act like one.
If you find one who’s feminine and holds conservative values, grab her and don’t let her go because she’s worth a million of the these filthy faminazis.
Sorry but a million of zero is still zero.
Military hazing has been going on hundreds of years, especially in special units. I don’t know if a female rugby team in military school qualifies-LOL
