Vice President Kamala Harris once again had Americans scratching their heads over her latest remarks that seemed to have something to do with the grand utopian vision of the Green New Deal but, as usual, left people guessing.
During a Monday event to promote one of the Biden administration’s top domestic priorities of conversion to “clean” energy, particularly electric vehicles, the space cadet who is a heartbeat away from the presidency once again drifted off into strange word salad that as has been her trademark, invoked lofty rhetoric of a better future without providing any real details on what it was that she was trying to express.
Harris appeared at the Eisenhower Executive Office Building for the “Clean Transit Event” that also featured Transportation Secretary “Mayor” Pete Buttigieg. The veep served up a story about the town of Mira Loma which she visited during her time as California’s attorney general where she said that the residents who “were monolingual Spanish speaking and who lived in neighborhoods “in close proximity to large shipping warehouses or major highways” were exposed to toxic fumes from the trucks on the highway.
“In Mira Loma, every day, heavy-duty trucks made more than 15,000 trips to that town’s main roads, bringing with them, of course, soot and exhaust. And the air turned toxic,” Harris said. “The first time I went to Mira Loma, you could taste the metal in the air. My eyes burned. The toxicity in the air was that thick.”
She then wandered off into left field on what was, up to that point, shaping up to be a good story of minority victimization served up to justify the administration’s war on fossil fuels, veering into one of her typical meandering stew of words that continue to demonstrate that she was plucked for the critically important job based on criteria that had little to do with actual qualifications instead of checking off boxes.
"We have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been. And then to make the possible actually happen."
Kamala Harris is possibly the world’s expert at saying so much, yet so little at the same time.

“Imagine a future,” she said. “The freight trucks that deliver bread and milk to our grocery store shelves and the buses that take children to school and parents to work, imagine all the heavy-duty vehicles that keep our supply lines strong and allow our economy to grow — imagine that they produced zero emissions.”
“Well, you all imagined it. That’s why we’re here today — because we have the ability to see what can be, unburdened by what has been, and then to make the possible actually happen.”
Critics took to Twitter to offer up their reviews on Kamala’s babbling.

It’s like she was channeling Mr Rogers. “We’re going to talk about trucks today, big trucks, little trucks, trucks that take you to school!”

Kammie is trying so hard to come up with a quotation for a monument she thinks they’ll erect for her some day. 🤡

Trying so hard to sound profound. Only to sound ridiculous!

Pretty sure she pulled this quote from one of Cinderella’s conversations with the talking mice in her bedroom.

Harris also touted the news that Buttigieg’s DOT “will make available nearly $1.5 billion” in the form of “grants to help cities and towns electrify their fleet of public buses, build infrastructure to support their fleet, and train workers to run it,” as regular Americans are being hammered by gas prices that are skyrocketing daily with no ceiling in sight thanks to her boss’s disastrous foreign and domestic policies.
