As war rages on and the threat of a nuclear holocaust hangs in the air, the White House has a great plan to show its solidarity with Ukraine: Send Kamala.
The White House is discussing sending the vice president to Poland and Romania to visit troops in Bucharest and refugees who have fled into Warsaw to escape Russian forces, according to a report from The Hill,
A source told the outlet that, while no one is suggesting President Joe Biden makes the trip, Haris could be on her way in the coming weeks.
“A presidential visit is a heavier logistical lift,” said the source. “The vice president has a smaller footprint and is historically more nimble.”
She may be nimble, but is Kamala Harris knowledgeable enough to represent the United States in an international crisis?
Townhall contributor Matt Vespa thinks not.
“Bench this woman, please,” Vespa implored. “For the sake of our intelligence and human civilization, just put her back into the cardboard box from whence she came.”
“She has failed on the border,” Vespa pointed out. “She failed in boosting COVID vaccination rates.”
“Harris,” Vespa claimed, “is a walking failure, who bleeds staff and fosters a toxic work environment.”
“She botched the talking points about the sanctions slapped against Russia in the aftermath of their invasion of Ukraine,” Vespa stated. “And now, the White House wants to send her to Poland?”

To be fair, upon returning from the Munich Security Conference, Harris did speak to the prime ministers of both Poland and Romania — talks one official said were meant “to underscore the strength and unity of our alliance.”
“You can expect the vice president will continue to engage with allies and partners on this issue,” the official told The Hill.
But it is difficult to take Kamala’s abilities seriously, especially when she has already approached the conflict in ways that make many cringe.
When asked on “The Morning Hustle” to explain the complexities of the situation in “layman’s terms,” the vice president instead broke it down in pre-school terms: “Ukraine is a country in Europe,” she said. “It exists next to another country called Russia. Russia is a bigger country. Russia is a powerful country. Russia decided to invade a smaller country called Ukraine. So, basically, that’s wrong.”

Many feel these are not remarks that inspire confidence.
So, it is no surprise that initial reactions on social media to the notion of sending Harris on a road trip to a hotspot that could erupt into World War Three have been less than favorable.
“Oh God please NO,” pleaded one user in a Tweet.
Another needed to do a double-take. “I thought this was a satire article at first,” the user said.
“We’re all going to die,” lamented a third, while still another prayed, “God save us.”

But at least one Twitter user wants to be helpful and breaks the situation down in terms Harris might understand:
“Warsaw is a city,” he tweets. “Bucharest is another city. Both cities are in Europe. Both cities are in the east. The east is also where you find Ukraine where Russia has invaded.”
“And that,” he says, “is wrong.”
