A controversial and stunning poll is being pushed by the liberal media showing an underwater President Joe Biden trouncing former President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in a hypothetical presidential match-up if it were held today.

The poll comes from the Marquette University Law School and shows Biden beating Trump and DeSantis by a wide margin. Many out there are finding that impossible to believe given the current state of the Biden presidency.

Biden’s approval is shown as underwater with most Americans. Fifteen percent of the survey’s respondents strongly approve of his job performance with 31 percent somewhat approving. That second number is hard to fathom with skyrocketing inflation roiling the nation, violence surging across the country, and the potential of World War III at our doorstep.

Twenty-one percent somewhat disapprove of Biden’s performance and 32 percent say they strongly disapprove. That adds up to 53 percent disapproving of the job the president is doing.

Despite all of Biden’s boondoggles and missteps, the poll shockingly claims that he would beat both Trump and DeSantis by double digits if a presidential election were held today.

According to the poll, Biden would garner 43 percent of the vote, while Trump would take 33 percent. Sixteen percent of voters would look for an entirely different candidate and 6 percent said they would sit the election out.

DeSantis would also receive 33 percent of the vote and Biden would get 41 percent in the match-up. Eighteen percent would look for another candidate to vote for and 8 percent would not vote at all.

Respondents had a 66 percent favorable view of DeSantis or had not heard enough about him yet.

As for Trump, 67 percent of respondents had an unfavorable view of him. Another 28 percent viewed him favorably.

In another twist, Biden was viewed as a favorable candidate by 45 percent in the survey. He was seen as unfavorable by 51 percent.

The survey included 1,000 adults nationwide and was conducted from Jan. 10 through Jan. 21 with a margin of error of +/- 4 points.

FiveThirtyEight labels Marquette a premier pollster that has reportedly called 81 percent of races correctly out of 13 polls analyzed. But poll numbers are notoriously unreliable and subjective, while results can be skewed one way or the other for political purposes.

The Morning Consult/POLITICO poll also pitted DeSantis and Trump against Biden. Trump was considered to be the stronger of the two potential 2024 candidates in that poll.

Biden beat DeSantis, 44 percent to 39 percent, but the Florida governor led Biden with Independents, 36 to 35 percent.

Biden was only one point ahead of Trump in that poll, with 45 percent against Trump’s 44 percent. With Independent voters, Trump had a +6 advantage. The numbers still do not seem to reflect public sentiment that has overwhelmingly turned against Biden recently.

A Harvard CAPS-Harris Poll survey found that in a hypothetical eight-person GOP primary, Trump snagged 57 percent followed by DeSantis at 11 percent and former Vice President Mike Pence at 11 percent. No other candidate in the poll pulled in double-digit support.

A recent Fox News poll shows that if the 2024 election were held today, 60 percent would vote for someone else other than Biden, according to polling data compiled by a Democrat and a Republican firm and derived from cellphone and landline interviews with approximately 1,000 randomly selected registered voters.

According to a Gallup Poll, Biden has cratered to a 33 percent approval rating among Independent voters. And even that number seems high currently.

The disbelief over the Marquette University Law School poll is off the charts:
