Shock jock Howard Stern coldly demanded that “Bat Out of Hell” singer Meat Loaf’s family speak up concerning COVID vaccinations and declared that he believes the recently passed rock legend was drawn into a “weird f***ing cult” over allegedly refusing the jab.

Meat Loaf, 74, passed away last week reportedly from COVID. He was said to be adamantly against masks and vaccine mandates.

The singer proclaimed in an interview last summer that masks are “useless. They don’t do anything. They don’t stop you from getting COVID. They’re just a nuisance and make your nose itch and make it so you can’t breathe.”

“I hug people in the middle of COVID,” Meat Loaf told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in August 2021. “I understood stopping life for a little while, but they cannot continue to stop life because of politics. And right now they’re stopping because of politics.”

He also reportedly asserted, “If I die, I die, but I’m not going to be controlled.”

Stern, 68, callously raged about Meat Loaf’s stance on mandates on his SiriusXM radio show, “Poor Meat Loaf got sucked into some weird f***ing cult. And somehow really believed that — he made a statement, ‘I’d rather die a free man than take that vaccine.’ And now he’s dead!”

“I wish the family would come forward and say, ‘Ya know, when Meat Loaf was laying there in the hospital and he couldn’t breathe, he said, ‘I made a mistake,’” he stated. “‘I should have taken the vaccine.’ Like all these anti-vaxxers, they all say, ‘I made a mistake.’”

Following Meat Loaf’s tragic passing, his widow, Deborah Gillespie, issued a statement saying, “The grief I feel over the loss of my husband is gut-wrenching.” She did not comment on his cause of death.

Stern has savaged anti-vaxxers before. He recently raged over tennis champ Novak Djokovic, who was booted from Australia after petitioning for an exemption to the country’s vaccination requirement for noncitizens.

“That f***-nut … Djokovic. The Joker, I call him the Joker,” Stern fumed. “What a f***ing a–hole.”

“The first I’ve heard of this guy is that he doesn’t want to get his vaccine and he’s running around … they should throw him right the f*** out of tennis,” the shock jock declared.

He’s also attacked a number of radio hosts who have died from COVID after speaking out against mandates.

“When are we going to stop putting up with the idiots in this country and just say, you know, ‘It’s mandatory to get vaccinated’?” Stern railed on his Sirius XM show last September. “F*** them, f*** their freedom. I want my freedom to live. I want to get out of the house already. I want to go next door and play chess. I want to go take some pictures.”

Last week, Stern said hospitals should not admit patients who are not vaccinated against COVID. He told anti-vaxxers, “No one’s sitting there conspiring against you. Americans don’t want to create a vaccine that’s going to turn you into a robot, or magnetize you.”

“There’s enough Americans now have taken it. Look at us as a sampling where nothing has happened to us. It’s time for you to get it. Now, if you don’t get it, in my America, all hospitals would be closed to you. You’re going to go home and die. That is what you should get. Absolutely,” he declared.

Stern was dragged on social media for his heartless politically correct comments:
