Megyn Kelly shreds CDC director for not calling out Sotomayor’s obvious ‘BS’, proves she’s a ‘partisan hack’

The criticism just keeps coming for CDC Director Rochelle Walensky who has faced backlash over her agency’s new COVID guidance that cut quarantine time and now she also has to deal with the fallout from a television interview where she was reluctant to rebut blatant misinformation from SCOTUS Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

And now, Megyn Kelly just lowered the boom on the embattled bureaucrat.

During Friday’s arguments over President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandates, the “wise Latina” brought dishonor upon the nation’s highest court when she falsely claimed that 100,000 children had been hospitalized with COVID with many on ventilators, a flaming whopper shamelessly served up that Dr. Walensky could have used her authority to smack down but didn’t.

Kelly blasted Walensky on the latest episode on her popular SiriusXM radio program “The Megyn Kelly Show,” calling her out as a “partisan hack” for her blatant fibbing in a monumentally important matter that will have long-lasting ramifications for individual freedom and executive power.

“We begin today with the COVID lies being told by our alleged leaders, from the liberal Supreme Court justices to the head of the CDC, our so-called elites continue to mislead us on the realities of COVID. Why?” Kelly asked.

“Because they are agenda, not facts-driven, and once they decide that a policy is right,’ fact manipulation is entirely permitted so long as it’s in service of that policy, like the obsession with vaccines,” she said.

“What happened at the Supreme Court on Friday was a great example of it, it was truly shocking in its gall,” she continued, highlighting Sotomayor’s remarks which were worthy of Four Pinocchios from The Washington Post, emphasizing that the Barack Obama appointee overestimated the count of hospitalized kids by about 96,500 and that Omicron is as deadly as the Delta variant which even Dr. Anthony Fauci has admitted is not true.

“I’ve never seen anything like it.” Kelly said.

“They made stuff up, left and right and it was shocking to witness,” she added, before turning her focus to Walensky.

“We’ve criticized the CDC director here before here on this program, for behavior more befitting a college coed than a woman in this position, tearfully warning of impending doom long after the virus’s most lethal months had passed,” she said as she recounted several incidences of the top health official’s overwrought displays of emotion.

“I figured this woman was just another hardcore leftwing COVID hysteric who had managed to scare herself into oblivion,” Kelly said, “but this weekend a different reality emerged. Rochelle is apparently a partisan hack.”

“Why else would she jump through such hoops to avoid calling out Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s BS at the U.S. Supreme Court?” She asked. “The hard time she gave Fox News channel’s Bret Baier on his most basic attempts at a fact check reveal a partisan determined to change the subject, not someone concerned about the credibility of public health messaging.”

In the “Fox News Sunday” interview that Kelly is referring to, Walensky ducked and dodged when confronted about Sotomayor’s deceptions.

“Why did he have to press to get her to answer that?” Kelly asked, “First she said yeah, it’s true, no it’s not true, he pressed and she admitted it’s not true because you can’t deny it, it’s such an obvious lie and then she went back to her obsession, vaccination, vaccination, that’s all she can focus on.”

“Shouldn’t the CDC Director care that a major figure in the United States is putting out shocking misinformation on children and COVID in a highly watched Supreme Court hearing?” She asked. “Isn’t it her professional obligation to correct that?”

Walensky’s refusal to call out Sotomayor serves as yet another example of why Americans are increasingly losing confidence in the nation’s institutions which have been subverted by activists who have used them to promote their political agenda. In the case of the agencies that are most critical to health and science, they may never recover from the politicization.
