U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert triggered liberals on social media after posting a photo of herself and her children in front of a Christmas tree posing with guns.

The Colorado Republican, who has repeatedly been under attack by the left for her bold comments and refusal to back down, sparked a wave of fiery backlash on Twitter over the post she shared on Tuesday.

“The Boeberts have your six, @RepThomasMassie! (No spare ammo for you, though),” Boebert tweeted.

The picture, which included the congresswoman and her four children standing in front of the tree, came just days after GOP Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) had shared an image of his own family holding guns.

Massie’s photo, which asked Santa to “please bring ammo,” came under immediate criticism as many thought it was tone-deaf coming so soon after the Michigan school shooting last week where four students were killed and seven injured.

Boebert’s Christmas photo with her children predictably led to a meltdown on Twitter, including from Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who mocked her, tweeting, “tell me again where Christ said ‘use the commemoration of my birth to flex violent weapons for personal political gain?'”

“This is a tragedy waiting to happen, and we should all be concerned for the Boebert kids,” tweeted gun-control advocate Shannon Watts. “This photo is exactly why we must keep fighting for stronger gun laws.”

Boebert’s stance on guns and her unwavering defense of the Second Amendment have put her on the left’s hate list from the start. Hours after being sworn in in Congress, she released a bold video that went viral declaring she would  “carry my Glock to Congress.”

“Educated, law-abiding gun owners are the safest people in America to be around,” Boebert said in the video. “So when anyone comes in to limit the rights and safety of my family, I’ll tell them exactly what this mom thinks. I am here to say, hell no, you’re not.”
