When it comes to pure media sensationalism there are few who can come close to MSNBC with the cable television network’s stable of unhinged personalities making audacious claims that prey upon the most paranoid fantasies of their viewers.
While none of the on-air talent ay MSNBC can come close to the outlandishly incendiary rantings of Joy Reid or the conspiracy mongering of star anchor Rachel Maddow, Tiffany Cross is an up and comer who could have a very bright future with the network that serves as little more than a propaganda outlet for the Democratic party.
During Saturday’s edition of “The Cross Connection” she welcomed Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) for a segment in which the two exploited last week’s rampage at a Michigan high school, where a troubled teen murdered four of his fellow students and the subsequent arrest of his parents to push their agenda to disarm law-abiding Americans.
After allowing Jeffries to pimp anti-gun legislation that has passed the House, Cross went low by suggesting that Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) was a potential danger to congressional Democrats.
Cross asked the House Democratic Caucus Chair, “You know I want to ask because this you know gun violence keeps happening, you’re working alongside gun enthusiasts, like Congresswoman Lauren Boebert who made, you know, her carrying her gun to work on Capitol Hill a part of her uh, campaign quite frankly.”
“She’s made threatening comments, she’s made insulting comments about some of your fellow colleagues, I’m just curious with the, the discord happening on Capitol Hill right now, do you feel safe working on Capitol Hill alongside people who are provocateurs, and some of that provoking led to the violence that we saw happen on January 6th?”
Once again, the reference to the so-called “insurrection” is used to smear those who stand in the way of the Democratic party’s relentless pursuit of power by any means necessary as dangerous extremists and potential murderers.
Boebert has been in the crosshairs of the viciously anti-American left over her ongoing feud with “Squad” member Ilhan Omar, a woman who despite her ongoing ethical lapses and brazen anti-Semitism has enjoyed an elevated profile in a party that no longer even remotely resembles that of FDR and JFK.
In a fiery speech delivered on the House floor, the Colorado Republican tore into “the jihad squad member from Minnesota,” drawing a rebuttal from Omar who tweeted that Boebert is a “d”eprived person who shamefully defecates & defiles the House of Representatives.”
Luckily my dad raised me right, otherwise I might have gone to the floor to talk about this insurrectionist who sleeps with a pervert. I am grateful I was raised to be a decent human and not a deprived person who shamefully defecates & defiles the House of Representatives. 🙏🏽 God https://t.co/F5W9LBzjCZ

The leftist outrage machine was further fueled after video surfaced with Boebert joking that her Somali-born colleague may have been a terrorist.
Boebert took the high road and apologized, not only to Omar but to the entire Muslim community.
I apologize to anyone in the Muslim community I offended with my comment about Rep. Omar. I have reached out to her office to speak with her directly. There are plenty of policy differences to focus on without this unnecessary distraction.

But instead of accepting the olive branch, Omar effectively spat on her fellow House member, again invoking the standard trope that ill-advised criticism is the equivalent of violence and that it puts people’s lives in danger, an assertion that has been given credibility by a media that is complicit in creating the current state of acrimonious political discourse in America.
Saying I am a suicide bomber is no laughing matter. @GOPLeader and @SpeakerPelosi need to take appropriate action, normalizing this bigotry not only endangers my life but the lives of all Muslims. Anti-Muslim bigotry has no place in Congress. https://t.co/A0VxI3uTmH pic.twitter.com/QTmqaGaZrM

MSNBC does little other than to prey on the insecurities of easily influenced minds, and Cross’s suggestion that Boebert may be inclined to open fire on Democrats is yet another example of how the media and unprincipled politicians work hand-in-hand to promote a false narrative that does nothing but instill fear in the gullible and provide even more excuses for the Biden administration’s weaponizing of the federal government against their political foes.
