Hilaria Baldwin employed some interesting parenting tactics on Thanksgiving when her six-year-old son, Rafael, whom she shares with actor Alec Baldwin, scrawled the ‘f-word’ and ‘poop’ all over his parents’ car in dust.

The yoga instructor turned star decided that the best way to remediate the situation was to film it and post it to her Instagram story, admitting that she was “kind of proud” of Rafael’s “spelling [and] reading.”

Baldwin, who joked about seeing the silver lining in the situation, actually came outside in the middle of her son’s “decorating” of the car and, instead of intervening,  recorded him in the act.

“It’s over the whole car,” she wrote over a photo of the damage.

She documented the entirety of his work and then took a photo of Rafael next to the car.

While the f-word was etched all over the car, the back of the SUV contained another message “f*** ya poop.”

To conclude the photo series of Rafael’s work, Baldwin posted a photo of herself and Rafael snuggling by the fire with the caption, “Grateful that you can spell…now we can work on some nicer words.”

The mother’s good humor in dealing with the incident may have stemmed from the fact that this was not her young son’s first time tagging their car.

Earlier this year, he was caught keying his name into one of their cars, according to Daily Mail.

The yoga guru also shared the end result of that earlier incident on her Instagram, telling her followers that her son was beating himself up over his decision.

Rafael was reportedly “having a hard time” according to Baldwin’s Instagram story at the time, which noted that the young boy was regretful for having “scratched the car in very, um, artistic ways, including writing his name and different emoji faces.”

At the time, the mother of six explained that instead of yelling at her children, she tries to “stick with my calm and just explained to him why we don’t do that.”

“You know when you were a kid and sometimes you would do bad things because you weren’t paying attention and wrapped up in a game, then reality hit and you were like, ‘What have I done?’ It was one of those,” the star shared.

In an attempt to calm their child’s emotions surrounding the incident, Mrs. Baldwin wrote that she and Alec brought him outside to show “him where both Alec and I have scratched the car in the past.”

She is open about her family life and frequently shares about all six of her children with Alec Baldwin on her Instagram.

Following the Thanksgiving car fiasco, Mrs. Baldwin posted a photo of a fireplace and wrote, “Grateful that my husband cooked, did some cleaning, and is putting the boys to bed. I’m supposed to sit here by the fire he made…I’m hearing wild party screaming from their room…let’s see how this goes.”

The Baldwin family has remained low key, flying under the radar the last few weeks following a tragedy on the set of one of Alec Baldwin’s movies.

In October, Baldwin reportedly fired a prop gun on the set of his movie, “Rust” in New Mexico, accidentally killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring the director.
