President Joe Biden is facing increased heat over what appears to be a career-long aversion to visiting the southern U.S. border.
According to Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy, his team has been unable to “find any record” of Biden “visiting the border as president, vice president, senator, or even as a concerned citizen.”
Asked during a briefing Wednesday to explain “why,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki was unable to provide an explanation.
“I will have to look back in my history books and check the times he’s been to the southern border. I’d be happy to,” she said.

Psaki was reportedly also unable to specify how many illegal migrants have been released into the U.S.
The briefing happened around 2:00 pm that afternoon. But by 9:00 pm, seven hours later, Doocy was still without an explanation.
“It has been about seven hours since Jen Psaki said she was going to check the history books for a previous, back-in-history Joe Biden visit to the border,” he revealed that evening on Fox News’ “Hannity.”
“We haven’t heard back yet, and so if he had ever been — and for some reason myself and the three guys from our brain room that spent a couple hours looking at this this morning missed it — we probably would have heard by now,” he added.

And so, the question now becomes why Biden has never once visited the southern U.S. border since he first took office as a Delaware senator way back in 1973.
He didn’t even visit the border during his tenure as vice president from 2009 to early 2017, despite then-President Barack Obama facing his own border crisis.

“We now have an actual humanitarian crisis on the border that only underscores the need to drop the politics and fix our immigration system once and for all,” Obama announced during a speech on June 30th, 2014.
“In recent weeks, we’ve seen a surge of unaccompanied children arrive at the border, brought here and to other countries by smugglers and traffickers,” he added.

Even now as president, Biden continues to stay away from the border as if allergic to it, even though he promised in March that he’d visit “at some point.”
Six months later, that “point’ has yet to emerge. Meanwhile, the crisis along the border has grown by leaps and bounds.

If Biden found time to go on vacation and Harris found time to go to a football game, then they both have time to actually do their jobs, visit the border, and finally get local officials the resources they need.

The stunning, almost comical irony is that even notorious race hustler Al Sharpton has reportedly set aside time to visit the southern border.

Republican Party operative Michele Perez Exner suspects that this aversion to merely visiting the border is why the president’s border policies are such failures.
“Maybe the fact President Biden has never been to the border in his political career, might have something to do with why his handling of our border security has been such a disaster,” she tweeted Wednesday afternoon.
But again, why does he keep avoiding the border? One theory posited by the public is that Biden’s handlers told him that he’s already been to the border, and he’s so “lost” mentally that he believed them.
