Cruz blasts Biden at border for lawless ‘manmade disaster’: You could end this tomorrow!

Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) tore into President Biden over his “manmade crisis” at the border in Del Rio, Texas sharing shocking footage of more than 10,000 illegal aliens encamped under an overpass.

“Joe Biden could end this tomorrow by simply following the law and reinstating deportation flights back,” Senator Cruz pointed out.

“It’s a maddening crisis,” Cruz said from the bridge in a video released on Thursday. “Just over a week ago, there were fewer than a thousand people here under the bridge, averaging between 700 and 1000. Then, on September 8th, the Biden administration made a decision to cancel deportation flights back to Haiti. The vast majority of these illegal immigrants crossing into Del Rio are from Haiti.”

“And [when the Biden administration] made that decision eight days ago, the 700 to a thousand people who were here discovered they could stay, they pulled out their cell phones,” he stated. “They called their friends, they called their family, and eight days later, 700 people became 10,503.”

“When you have open borders, this is what you get,” Cruz asserted concerning the flood of refugees. “This is wrong. This is not humane. This is not compassionate. This is lawless, and it is inviting suffering. This needs to end.”

The Texas senator pointed out that the border situation is a “manmade disaster” that is directly a “result of political decisions.” He noted that Biden could easily fix the problem by simply following the law and reinstating deportation flights.

In an interview with Fox News on Thursday evening, Cruz doubled down on blasting Biden over his handling of the border crisis.

Cruz stated that the Biden administration had shut down drones from being able to operate near the area where thousands of illegal immigrants were encamped under an overpass. He claims it was done to keep Americans from seeing just how bad things are there.

“The drone footage started this morning and people across the country were horrified and I guess the political operatives at the Biden White House saw that and decided the last thing they want is Fox News actually reporting on what’s happening down here,” Cruz declared.

“So, now the FAA is saying please, no journalists allowed. As you know, they did the same thing in the Donna tent facility in the Rio Grande Valley where they wouldn’t allow Fox News to come in when I brought 19 senators to the Rio Grande Valley, I had to go in with my cell phone and photograph and take videos,” he recounted.

Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, who had been reporting on the situation and the drones, tweeted an FAA statement late Thursday night saying “media is able to call the FAA to make requests to operate in the area.”

“It is the most horrific thing I’ve ever seen. There are right now as we’re speaking– right now as we’re speaking, there are 10,503 people under that bridge. It is packed-in as a mass of humanity and it is, the scope of it, until you see it, and I’m putting those videos out tonight, you’ll get a chance to see it,” the GOP senator continued.

“They take your breath away because it just goes on and on and on, infants, little children, people, people struggling enormously, and something stunning that I discovered today is I discovered the cause of why this is happening,” Cruz said.

“The answer is simple, that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are absolute hypocrites,” he proclaimed. “If you’re from Haiti, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have said we have open borders, come to Del Rio and they will let you in.”
