President Joe Biden’s decree that all members of the military must get vaccinated has given rise to dissension in the ranks as some are choosing to resign rather than submit to being jabbed, even at great costs to themselves and their families.

One U.S. Army officer whose resignation letter has received attention on social media is Lt. Col. Paul Douglas Hague who feels so strongly about Biden’s “tyrannical” vaccine mandate that he is willing to walk away from his lifetime of service while enduring great financial loss by forgoing his pension.

In addition to Hague’s opposition to the vax mandate, he also expressed his view that the military, as well as the U.S. government, has been subject to a “Marxist takeover.”

The letter was shared on Twitter by Hague’s wife Katie who wrote, “He’s walking away from all he’s worked for and believed in since he was an ROTC kid at UGA. He’s walking away from his retirement.”

According to Hague who is stationed at Ft. Bragg, “First, and foremost, I am incapable of subjecting myself to the unlawful, unethical, immoral and tyrannical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my flesh against my will and better judgment,” he wrote. “It is impossible for this so-called ‘vaccine’ to have been studied adequately to determine the long-term effects.”

He added, “It simply has not existed for enough time and any claim otherwise is blatantly ignorant and likely an outright lie driven by negligent political agenda.”

The observation that the mass vaccination campaign that is currently underway and becoming increasingly coercive in nature is driven by a political agenda has been echoed by many who have witnessed the weaponizing of COVID by Biden and his fellow Democrats to ruthlessly advance a nakedly radical agenda that will forever transform America into a place that is more in alignment with their visions of a grand socialist utopia.

Hague’s disgust with the Biden administration extends beyond the forced jabbing, as he also expressed his opposition to the authoritarian measures that have been implemented under the pretense of a public health emergency, including the lockdowns favored by Democrat governors.

“I cannot and will not contribute to the fall of this great nation and its people,” he wrote. “The values that our nation was founded on, has lived by and thrived under, have been utterly decimated by the current presidential administration and the leadership of the military; to include the Army.”

He continued, “We are watching the fall of liberty at this moment. Governors and mayors forcibly locking down millions of Americans, restricting them from their unalienable right to pursue happiness, forcing them out of their jobs and their ability to participate in the most basic and fundamental rights life offers because of their beliefs and values.”

Hague also cited what he views as a “Marxist takeover of the military and United States government at their upper echelons,” possibly referring to the purge of suspected supporters of former President Donald J. Trump as well as the critical race theory indoctrination that has been championed by Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin and Joint Chiefs Of Staff Chairman Gen. Mark Milley.

When some critics pointed out that Hague’s opposition to Biden’s edict was inconsistent with him having to take numerous vaccines throughout his military career, his wife responded.

He didn’t resign over a vaccine. He said he felt the vaccine was being used as a political tool to divide and segregate Americans. He then went on to list many other reasons for his resignation—none of which have anything to do with vaccines.

He isn’t the only military officer who has denounced the Biden administration. Last month, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved of duty after a blistering video posted to social media in which he demanded accountability over the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle that resulted in the deaths of 13 U.S. service members who were killed in a suicide bombing outside of the Kabul airport.

America’s adversaries have to be ecstatic as the damage that Biden has done to the military in only seven months and it will likely only get worse as the administration intensifies its efforts to get shots into every arm.
