Levin predicts terrorists will declare ‘open season on Americans’ Biden leaves behind in Kabul

Fox News host and top conservative radio talker Mark Levin made a chilling prediction during his Sunday evening show, saying that should the Biden administration leave any American behind in Afghanistan, terrorists will consider it “open season” on all U.S. citizens.

In his opening “Life, Liberty & Levin” monologue, a fired-up Levin railed at the Biden administration for claiming to trust the Taliban while lashing out at the chaotic, deadly withdrawal plan in general.

“Now we’re supposed to believe the Taliban’s the good guy and ISIS is the bad guy. They’re all cockroaches,” Levin said, “and want to kill as many Americans as possible. And now look at the situation.

“We have a propaganda media in this country prior to a few days ago. But they’ll be back saying what? This is the greatest airlift in American history, in the face of the most outrageous surrender in American history, they’re regurgitating the administration’s talking points,” he continued.

“We have troops who’ve been attacked and harmed. We have American citizens behind enemy lines, we have allies, Afghan allies who can’t get out,” Levin went on, after declaring “mission not accomplished.”

“What’s going to happen is you’re going to have the biggest hostage situation in the history of the American republic and you’re going to have genocide,” he said.

Levin, an attorney and former Justice Department chief of staff under President Ronald Reagan, went on to say Republicans in the House should be talking up impeaching Biden for the deadly, disastrous pull-out from Afghanistan after having months to plan it once his administration took office in January.

He also said that it is wrong to blame what’s taking place in the war-torn southwest Asian country on all four presidents who served during the 20-year conflict — Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, Donald Trump, and Biden.

“Four presidents are not responsible for this, and this is how Washington gets away with unaccountability,” Levin railed.

“There’s one man responsible for this. He did this, not the prior presidents. He did this, Joe Biden,” said an exercised Levin. “He’s to be held to account for what he did. His generals are to be held to account, his secretary of defense, his secretary of state, his national security adviser. We’ve never seen so many lightweights gathered in one place in the history of this country.

“And the consequences are devastating,” the top host and bestselling author continued.

Levin went on to say that he thinks “overwhelming military action” would mitigate the damage done and give the United States the upper hand once again while buying time to find and extricate the remaining Americans still stranded there. Such action, he suggested, would also go a long way towards revitalizing America’s reputation in the world as a strong, reliable ally.

“Of course, the problem with that is you expose many more of our military personnel to attacks in harm’s way. But how else are you going to get American citizens out?” Levin posited.

“And for the rest of the world, our enemies, whether they’re nation states or terrorists, if we don’t get our citizens out, they’re going to say, ‘okay, it’s open season on American citizens,'” he said.

“I don’t care if you’re on a train. I don’t care if you’re on a plane. I don’t care if you’re overseas going to school. I don’t care. Your government’s not gonna protect you, and your government’s not gonna get you,” he added.

Meanwhile, ABC News’ Jonathan Karl on Sunday described Thursday’s deadly attack on U.S. troops in Kabul “the worst day” of Biden’s presidency, adding that his administration does not seem to grasp how bad things have gone in Afghanistan.

“They have been describing something that isn’t reality,” Karl said. “This has been an incredible airlift, more than 100,000 people evacuated, but what a disaster.

“Clearly, Thursday was the worst day of the Biden presidency, and we don’t really know, Martha, how bad it really is,” Karl added.
