Jill Biden spox demands apology from Fox News and Campos-Duffy over ‘disgusting’ comments

Jill Biden’s press secretary Michael LaRosa demanded an apology from Fox News and host Rachel Campos-Duffy over comments asserting that the first lady had failed the nation by letting her husband run for the presidency.

“When you look at what’s hurting America, when you look at this lack of leadership, and you wonder, who are the people responsible for putting someone this incompetent and frankly this, you know, mentally frail in this position?” Campos-Duffy asked.

“I’m sorry, as a political spouse, I can’t help but look at Jill Biden… No one knew better his state of mind than Dr. Jill Biden,” she added. Campos-Duffy is married to former Representative Sean Duffy (R-WI).

She went on to state that the most “patriotic thing Jill Biden could have done was tell her husband, to love her husband, and not let him run in this mental state that he’s in.”

“I think she failed the country as well,” the “Fox & Friends Weekend” host asserted.

LaRosa called her assessment of the Bidens “disgusting” in a tweet slamming both Campos-Duffy and Fox News. “@RCamposDuffy and @FoxNews know better. They can do better and their viewers deserve better. I hope they’ll apologize to the First Lady and leave this kind of talk in the [trash] where it belongs,” he bitterly tweeted.

Campos-Duffy is not the only one by any means who is criticizing and questioning the decisions of President Biden. Many are wondering about his competency after his disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. His catastrophic foreign policy is now actively getting Afghans killed and has put thousands of Americans’ lives in peril as they are effectively stranded behind enemy lines and at the mercy of the barbaric Taliban.

Biden has been excoriated for not getting Americans and those supporting our efforts out of the country before the withdrawal and for not conducting the exit during the winter which would have given the Afghans and the Taliban’s opposition a chance to prepare for the conflict. Instead, what Biden has done has effectively handed the country to terrorists and has cast the world into an uncertain future where terrorists are once again in power.

On Sunday, Fox News announced that it had successfully evacuated three Afghan nationals who had assisted them with the network’s coverage of the war in Afghanistan, along with their families. The three Afghan individuals served as “producers, drivers, translators, and security guards” for Fox News correspondents during the 20-year war in Afghanistan. They also reported that they retrieved a colleague from a regional media company.

Fox News said it evacuated 24 people from the chaos that is now Kabul and flew them to Doha, Qatar. Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott confirmed that the rescue took place.

“We are extremely proud to have assisted in this critical mission bringing them to safety in Doha where the Qataris have been aiding in several evacuations, and are grateful to Fox Corps for all their assistance,” Scott said in a statement.

Pentagon spokesman John Kirby stated that he did not have a “perfect figure” on how many Americans remain in Kabul and Afghanistan. He vaguely commented that Washington is fighting against “time and space” to get people out of the Taliban-controlled country.

“That’s the race that we’re in right now,” Kirby posited. “And we’re trying to do this as quickly and as safely as possible. I’m not going to speculate about whether windows are closing or opening. We’re focused on accomplishing this mission as fast as we can.”

Jill Biden’s press secretary may be offended but it seems that many on social media and across America agree with Compos-Duffy:
