In a much-needed bit of comedy relief this Thursday, Fox News host Tucker Carlson accused President Joe Biden of turning orange.
It was just a joke, of course, but given the sadness permeating the air right now, it was greatly needed.
“Back in January, liberals around the world celebrated that the White House was no longer occupied by an orange president. Now a lot of viewers of this show have noticed something: Joe Biden is turning orange. That’s not an exaggeration. Look at the pictures,” he said.
He then displayed a photo of Biden that had him looking orange likely because of the lighting.
“In other words, the ‘orange man’ is back. What is happening here? Is there something about the White House that turns people orange? Is it the water? Is it something else? We don’t know, but we are going to stay on that story. The ‘orange man’ is back,” Carlson added.

Carlson was clearly just joking, but ironically, there’s some truth to what he said.
The underlying suggestion was that Biden is turning into former President Donald Trump, i.e., the man known as “orange man.”
Here’s the thing: According to Biden’s overseas critics, he’s certainly acting like Trump — or, rather, how they think the former president would have acted.
Take the Brits.
According to The New York Times, the Brits had “very little” say regarding the president’s extraordinarily botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.
This despite the Brits having “suffered the second-most casualties among Western nations in the Afghanistan war after the United States.”
According to the Times, this has left them quite unhappy.
“That has left British officials embarrassed and embittered at President Biden. Some say he behaved more like his predecessor, Donald J. Trump, than an ally who promised a new era of American partnership,” the paper reported Friday.
“Orange man” back indeed …
Though in fairness to Trump, he and his former top officials have vowed that things would have turned out differently had they still been in charge.
For instance, they wouldn’t have disbanded the Crisis Response Bureau that they themselves had established to provide swift and safe evacuations of Americans out of crisis zones.

The Biden administration disbanded the bureau only weeks before Afghanistan fell to the Taliban. As a result, there are an estimated 15,000 Americans currently stranded in the Middle Eastern nation.
The Trump administration also wouldn’t have allowed the Taliban to get away with so much.
“[I]f I were now president, the world would find that our withdrawal from Afghanistan would be a conditions-based withdrawal. I personally had discussions with top Taliban leaders whereby they understood what they are doing now would not have been acceptable,” the former president said in a statement last week.
According to Trump era Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, the conditions were quite simple: “[I]f you threaten an American, if you scared an American, certainly if you hurt an American, we would bring all American power to bear to make sure that we went to your village, to your house.”
With the Biden administration, there have been no conditions — or at least not from them.
Every Biden foreign policy decision is now condition-independent — he’s willing to concede to Iran and China regardless of what they do, too. Regardless of what you think of his Afghanistan policy (and I don’t like it), making foreign policy independent of conditions is nuts. https://t.co/F61BkRrGKE

Rather, the conditions have been coming from the Taliban.
For instance, access to the airport in Kabul “has been complicated by a Taliban-imposed curfew,” according to Politico.
Questioned about this appeasement Wednesday, Defense Department spokesperson John Kirby said only that the administration’s “talking” to the Taliban about the curfew’s detrimental effects.
“What I would tell you there is, there is constant communication with the Taliban commanders outside the field with respect to helping us with the flow. And we are — we are talking to them about the effect that their curfew and their — and the limits that they’re putting on flow outside the airport is having on our ability to accomplish the mission,” he said.
It’s believed the Trump administration, if still in power, wouldn’t be talking — it’d be bombing.
Trump would be bombing the Taliban back to the stone ages.

Donald Trump would be bombing the shit out of the Taliban and doing whatever it takes to get American citizens out if he were in charge right now.

Trump would be bombing the Hell out of them right now and the Taliban would retreat. They don’t fear Biden.

With Biden, the only one “bombing” is him …
