In yet another example of expected outcomes due to gross negligence of the Biden regime on the southern border, two illegal aliens have been arrested in California, both previously convicted sex offenders.
On Tuesday at around 1 pm local time, Border Patrol working the El Centro Sector encountered a man who had illegally entered the country via the Jacumba Wilderness, an area in south-central California just a few miles from the Mexican border. Upon performing a background check, they found the man had previously been deported after conviction in Washington state for a sex crime against a minor. He has also been convicted of violating court orders including no contact/restraining orders as well as theft.
His identity has not been released pending prosecution.
Early Wednesday morning, a second individual was caught having entered illegally into a desert region of California, east of the City of Calexico. Mexican national Santiago Echeverria-Gutierrez, 43, was found to have a lengthy criminal record, likewise including sex offense convictions with minors and also having been deported previously.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection say Echeverria-Gutierrez was the 37th sex offender that El Sector has apprehended this year. Both he and the other individual were arrested and transported to the El Centro Sector Processing Center for processing.
Walls don’t work though … and they’re racist.
On Thursday, Fox News contributor Joey Jones and the ‘Outnumbered’ panel reacted to the ongoing crisis at the southern border.
“President Trump offered Nancy Pelosi the best deal Democrats could have: Fund the border. We will get DACA and we’ll talk about a path to citizenship, and Nancy Pelosi couldn’t give him enough of a win to make that happen. So. here we are, years later, still dealing with this in the worst of ways,” Jones said.
Host Harris Faulkner wondered, “Why didn’t Democrats just take the win? Was it because it was put forth by Donald Trump?”
Co-host Kayleigh McEnany replied, “That’s exactly why they didn’t take the win.” She continued, “Where is Kamala Harris? She said it was a human catastrophe on the southern border during the Trump era. Where is she now? Where are the mainstream media? Where are the open-border advocates? Where are the Democrats who had crocodile tears in 2019? Where are they now?”
Commentator and panelist Leslie Marshall tried to deflect, saying, “We have to look at what happened in Mexico. They said no more children under 6 years of age. We don’t have the facilities to care for them. That’s increased the numbers that we have at the border. These are not excuses. These are realities. To Joey’s point, I love you. But this is not an Obama, Trump or Biden problem. This is an American problem going on 17 years.”
Joey replied simply, “Semantics won’t fix it.”
In addition, Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) made an appearance and echoed Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) and his calls for the impeachment of DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.
No one seemed to address the elephant in the room except for Faulkner, that being the highly dangerous and immoral practice of releasing illegals into the country who are infected with the COVID-19 virus.
Meanwhile, you better put on that mask and do as we say.
