Fox News host Laura Ingraham predicted an impending GOP tsunami in 2022 as radical Democrats’ track record for the American people has led to surging inflation, surging crime rates and desecrated the nation’s sovereignty.
The host called the infrastructure plan, whose Tuesday passage in the Senate meant a victory for the radical left, “a bill filled with junk that we don’t need and can’t afford.” This behemoth bill won’t be enough of a win for Democrats to secure the seats they need in 2022.
Ingraham cited a new Axios report that found that “Inflation, rising crime and the border surge are positioning Republicans for even bigger midterms gains than they’d imagined just months ago.”
Biden’s handling of the coronavirus is also not doing Democrats any favors. What was once an “early salvation” for the party has transformed into “a liability as the delta variant threatens school re-openings, a return to mask mandates and a new wave of shutdowns,” Ingraham stated, citing the report.

Ingraham went on to predict that Democrats, drunk with power, will use the coronavirus as an excuse to keep their grip on society with more heavy-handed regulation. She pointed to the goalposts that continue to move when it comes to coronavirus progress because “the guys in the white coats” are really running policy.
“You’ve got a whole alphabet of variants and they’ll prevent us from ever going back to normal,” Ingraham said.
There is an element of hypocrisy to it all and Americans are becoming fed up.
“They’re looking at the bottom line, and their money isn’t going as far. When he’s flying his private jet to Martha’s Vineyard, John Kerry’s not affected by skyrocketing gas prices, but most working Americans are,” Ingraham remarked. “Across the country, gas is up nearly 30 percent from a year ago. That’s nearly $1 per gallon. Do the math.”
The Fox News host called the surge in inflation “robbery via bad policy”
Ingraham said it’s not just COVID and rising costs of goods and services that are going to be the Democrats’ political demise next year– it’s also our wide-open southern border and the crime wave that is gripping the nation after a year of Democrat lockdowns and calls to defund the police.
Police have said they are at a breaking point with limited funding and government support as crime continues to wreak havoc in communities across the country.
The rates are not likely to improve either as President Biden embraces an open border policy and welcomes illegal immigrants coming to claim welfare benefits, commit crimes, or bring in new COVID-19 cases.
While leftist media allies like CNN continue to cover for Democrats and cry “racism” at any assertion that migrants are bringing coronavirus across the border, Customs and Border Protection’s own numbers show 18 percent of migrant families leaving holding facilities tested positive for COVID and 25 percent of those scheduled for expedited deportation also tested positive.
“So your kids have to be masked up for seven hours a day while they are at school, but migrants can waltz right in,” Ingraham postulated.

Democrats are not blind to the challenges they will face in the midterm elections.
“Well, the Squad and Bernie Sanders, they know the Democrats are in trouble, so does the White House. So they’re going to go ramming through as many socialist goodies into their next monster bill as possible. I’m talking, of course, about that $3.5 trillion so-called reconciliation bill that the GOP Gang of 18 made possible. It’s going to ensure that we lose more of the country we love,” the host warned.
Ingraham did give Democrats credit where credit is due– “for whipping up a poisonous left-wing stew with job-killing, race-baiting, sovereignty destroying, business suffocating, and inflation creating ingredients only to then exempt themselves from the same rules they demand the ‘unsophisticated’ Americans follow.”
The country may be in rough shape now, but a GOP tsunami is precisely the solution that would get the nation back on track, functioning for its’ people, not a political agenda.
But for now, “under Biden, it’s back to doom and gloom 24/7,” Ingraham forecasted.
