Anti-Trump libs snap at Sylvester Stallone for joining Mar-a-Lago, but he’s busy fighting off real sharks

“Rocky” legend Sylvester Stallone is reportedly a new member of Donald Trump’s private resort Mar-a-Lago and the news isn’t sitting well with many on the left still consumed with their Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Perhaps, the iconic 74-year-old actor just likes to play golf, as simple as that may be, but the critics aren’t having it.

“Sly just became a member of Mar-a-Lago,” a source told Page Six after seeing the actor at the club last month. Stallone was reportedly seen posing with some guests at Mar-a-Lago, taking photos while they all held up their fists in a boxing pose.

Stallone bought a $35 million compound back in December that’s located near Palm Beach, Fla., according to Page Six. Citing a real estate listing, the article said Sly’s new estate has 13,241 square feet of living space, seven bedrooms, 253 feet of waterfront, a dock, a sandy beach, and a pool pavilion with an open-air cabana.

Given Stallone’s estimated net worth of $400 million, the estate could be interpreted as modest.

The actor was a guest at Mar-a-Lago’s New Year’s Eve celebration in  2016. As for his political leanings, Stallone supported Republican presidential nominee John McCain in 2008.

Responding to rumors, Stallone recently told The Hollywood Reporter the he will not be appearing in the upcoming Creed III film. The third installment of the Creed series is scheduled to be released Nov. 23, 2022.

“Stallone’s performance in 2015’s Creed earned him an Academy Award nomination for best supporting actor,” THR reported. “That film was followed by Creed II, which released in November 2018. Both Creed films were box office and critical successes.”

As for the fallout online, there was a hilarious suggestion as to how Stallone may be responding – *Caution: Adult Language

But Trump-hating liberals were a whole other story, as they raged on about reports of the Mar-a-Lago membership.

Here’s an Instagram video Stallone shared last week of the culprit. The caption read, “The video is a little short because the bull shark decided to eat one of my legs…I’ll be back after I find a few Band-Aids.”
