Incarcerated convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein is back in the news thanks to a bombshell new sexual assault accusation lodged against him in a lawsuit filed Friday in California by an aspiring actress and victim of Tourette’s syndrome.

What makes the latest accusation particularly noteworthy is alleged victim Hayley Gripp’s claim that she fought back against Weinstein’s advances by stabbing him in the scrotum with a broken acrylic fingernail, as reported by The Wrap.

According to the suit, in 2012 the then-19-year-old aspiring actress showed up at the The Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, for a casting call but was allegedly “lured” to Weinstein’s room by one of the then-famed Hollywood producer’s assistants.

The assistant, a female, then allegedly “coerced her to drink an alcoholic beverage,” after which she blacked out. When she came to, she found Weinstein allegedly sexually assaulting her.

“Ms. Gripp did not realize Weinstein’s fingers were inside her vagina until she felt the cold metal of his watch against her skin. Weinstein then held Ms. Gripp down with one hand, took Ms. Gripp’s genital fluids, and rubbed it on his exposed genitalia, proceeding to masturbate with his other hand,” the suit reportedly reads.

It was at this point that Gripp allegedly began to fight back, prompting Weinstein to tell her to pretend he’s then-24-year-old star actor Zac Efron.

“You are so wet and tight. You are a virgin, aren’t you?” he added, according to the suit.

To escape his hold, Ms. Gripp began flailing her arms and, in doing so, broke her acrylic nail against the coffee table. Ms. Gripp then stabbed Weinstein on the bottom part of his scrotum with her sharp broken nail,” the suit continues.

Weinstein let out a quiet scream and grabbed her hand, inadvertently causing her nail to move up and inward, deeper into his scrotum. As Ms. Gripp’s hand moved away from Weinstein’s body, her nail ripped the skin of his scrotum, causing him to bleed.”

Gripp subsequently fled the room but was confronted by the female associate from before. The associate allegedly blamed her Tourette’s syndrome for the incident and warned that she’d wind up incarcerated in a mental hospital if she said anything.

Nine years later, Weinstein is now incarcerated in a maximum security state prison in New York for sexual assault and rape — and isn’t slated for release til 2039.

Weinstein has already disputed Gripp’s claims.

“This never happened. It’s a money grab that comes conveniently as my NY appeal is coming up and the LA case is looming. While media takes great lengths to confirm and reject the veracity of any explanation offered by me, they run any unconfirmed and absurd claim by anyone who dares to make one,” he said to The Wrap.

But according to the suit, Gripp passed a polygraph test. And according to one of her attorneys, there’s no monetary value that can account for the damage that’s been done to her.

“This lawsuit is about Ms. Gripp reclaiming her power, becoming a survivor, not a victim, and getting restitution for the sexual crimes perpetrated against her. She has real damages from this that are lasting,” attorney Eric Lerner told Page Six.

“Harvey Weinstein along with those who helped him perpetrate these crimes of sexual assault and attempted rape against Ms. Gripp must be held responsible for ruining her life.”

Another attorney, Christa Riggins, added that the reason Gripp didn’t speak out earlier is “the same reason that nearly 80 percent of rapes and sexual assaults go unreported.”

Riggins also pointed out that her client isn’t interested in filing criminal charges but rather in seeking a jury trial and unspecified damages.

“At this time, Ms. Gripp does not intend to file criminal charges because Harvey Weinstein has received what amounts to a lifetime sentence and is unable to abuse another woman. However, Hayley will fully cooperate with the Los Angeles Police Department or any other agency regarding an investigation or prosecution against Harvey Weinstein,” she said to Page Six.

If Gripp’s allegation is true, it’d explain an alleged anomaly about Weinstein’s genitals.

Testifying in court last January, Weinstein victim Jessica Mann, a former actress, claimed she’d seen “extreme scarring” on his genitals.

“The first time I saw him fully naked, I thought he was deformed and intersex. He has an extreme scarring that I didn’t know, maybe [he] was a burn victim,” she reportedly said.

According to Page Six, it was later learned “that Weinstein had been deformed by ‘Fournier’s gangrene,’ a bacterial infection contracted through cuts or scratches in the genitals.”
