Piers Morgan suggests Gayle King stop acting like Meghan Markle ‘mouthpiece’ and try doing her job instead

Piers Morgan is calling out CBS host Gayle King over publicly divulging information shared by Meghan Markle and Prince Harry that includes his conversation with his father, Prince Charles, and with his older brother, Prince William.

King is a longtime friend of Oprah Winfrey and CBS is still showcasing the rift between Prince Harry and the Royal Family. She is also reportedly a friend of Markle’s.

Morgan slammed King for revealing that the conversations between Harry and his family were “not productive.” He bluntly told her to stop acting as a mouthpiece for the Royal Couple.

Since leaving “Good Morning Britain,” Morgan has come under fire for his attacks on Markle and for stating that he does not believe her in the least. He has been accused of being a racist for his comments concerning the actress but unapologetically stands by his accusations against her.

Over 250,000 people have signed three separate Change.org petitions demanding that “Good Morning Britain” bring back Piers Morgan. The show has lost a reported 400,000 viewers in just a week since Morgan stepped away.

“Hi @GayleKing – rather than acting as your Sussex friends’ PR mouthpiece to facilitate their ongoing public trashing of our Royal Family, how about doing your job as a journalist and ask them about all the lies they told in @Oprah’s interview? America should hear THE truth,” Morgan tweeted out on Wednesday.

King is also alleging that Markle can back up her allegations: “I think Meghan has plenty of receipts, meaning she’s been keeping track of things.” Markle claimed in her Winfrey interview that the Royal Family displayed “concerns” over the color of her unborn child’s skin. It is unknown which family member is the alleged “racist.”

“Two key points from the past week that need reinforcing: 1) It’s not ‘racist’ to disbelieve someone who’s telling lies. 2) You don’t have to agree with a word I say to support my right to have my own opinions,” Morgan also tweeted out.

Markle made a play for sympathy in the Winfrey interview claiming she had been suicidal during her time with the Royal Family. She claims she asked the staff for mental health assistance and was never given it because she wasn’t a paid employee.

Approximately 50 million people watched the interview with Winfrey. Since then, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have come under sharp criticism from all sides in what many viewed as a publicity stunt that they received millions for.

Prince William last week made it plain that the British Royal Family is not racist. He was the first British royal to speak up in defense of his family.

Morgan is not the only one infuriated by Gayle’s PR moves for the Royal Couple. Many are very angry with Markle as well.

One Twitter commenter snarked: “Do all families keep documents to back up their claims, or just those who spend half their life in court?” Another tweeted: “Are we talking about a Daily Diary of fiction and exaggerations?” And one more cast shade on Markle’s claim of evidence: “How can you have a document of a discussion?”
