The Biden administration’s tacit support of the proposal by Dallas Mavericks’ owner Mark Cuban to stop playing the national anthem before games has some raising questions over both men’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party.
Asked during a briefing Wednesday about the matter, White House press secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn the move and instead spoke of “recognizing [the] moments where we as a country haven’t lived up to our highest ideals.”
“I haven’t spoken with the President about the decision by Mark Cuban on the Dallas Mavericks or I should say the national anthem, but I know he’s incredibly proud to be an American and has great respect for the anthem and all that it represents, especially for our men and women serving in uniform around the world,” she began.
So far, so good.
“He’d also say that, of course, that part of pride in our country means recognizing moments where we as a country haven’t lived up to our highest ideals, which is often, and at times what people are speaking to when they take action at sporting events,” she continued.
“And it means respecting the right of people granted to them in the Constitution to peacefully protest. That’s why he ran for president in the first place and that’s what he’s focused on doing every day,” she added.

Some in the public don’t share this attitude.
Look at some of the backlash that Psaki’s remarks spawned:
They always find every opportunity to talk bad about America. No one else see this as a problem?

These leftist hate America and think you must destroy anything that isn’t perfect in their eyes. Newsflash, nothing is perfect. No one is perfect. No country is perfect. Logic fail.

The right to peacefully protest? They need to go to China and peacefully protest. See where that leads them.

Why bring up our past sins when you’re just standing for the anthem?

How about being proud of the majority of times we have lived up to our ideals and then some?

Perhaps the public would have more appreciation and respect for Cuban — not to mention President Joe Biden — if they weren’t so sycophantic toward the Chinese Communist Party.
Cuban in particular has been compared to a China “groupie” because of his stubborn refusal to ever criticize the communist nation, even in the face of its many human rights abuses.
Questioned last year by award-winning journalist Megyn Kelly over China’s rampant human rights abuses, Cuban kept trying to defend the regime.
“One million or more are being held against their will right now. Men, women, and children, facing torture, forced labor, physical and sexual abuse, coercive population control, forced abortions, forced sterilizations. And the question remains, why won’t you and the NBA explicitly condemn that?” Kelly asked him.
“I personally put a priority on domestic issues. When it comes to human rights, I’m against all human rights violations around the world,” Cuban replied.
When Kelly asked if that included China, he responded by saying they are “not the only country with human rights violations.”
In other words, he seems willing to condemn human rights violations except when they’re committed by China, whom he described as “a customer of ours.”

Now contrast his breathtaking defense of one of the most brutal regimes on Earth with his insistence on continually and habitually tearing down the freest nation on Earth.
The same dichotomy exists with Biden. Asked during an interview this past weekend about why he hadn’t yet called Chinese President Xi Jinping to discuss, among other matters, the nation’s human rights abuses, he demurred.
“I had 25 hours of private meetings with him when I was vice president, I know him pretty well. He’s very bright, he’s very tough, he doesn’t have, and I don’t mean it as a criticism, just as a reality, he doesn’t have a democratic (small-d) bone in his body. We don’t need to have a conflict, but there will be extreme competition,” he said.
What was that supposed to mean?
He’s also banned the term “China virus” despite the coronavirus originating in China, and he’s eliminated Trump era policies that were meant to hold China in check.
Meanwhile, even as he jumps through hoops to protect the feelings of the CCP, Biden continues to trash America — just like Cuban. Except in his case, the trashing has involved him rescinding former President Donald Trump’s patriotic “1776 Commission,” which he did last month.
At the time, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich explained why Biden took issue with the commission.

“Think about this. On the very day he was sworn in as president, he signed an executive order to destroy the 1776 Commission. And all of our viewers tonight ought to ask themselves, what is it about this 1776 Commission that made it such a big deal that Biden went out of his way to destroy it on his first day of office?” he said.
“The answer is, it’s a pro-American, pro-history, pro-factual commission which threatens the very essence of the modern left and all of their 1619 Projects and all of their lies about the makeup of America,” Gingrich said.
Now ask yourself who it benefits when men like Biden and Cuban choose to be anti-American …
