Tucker unpacks new ‘equity’ rule which gives to those who do not possess ‘privilege’

Future history books will contain a section dedicated specifically to the “thugs” in contemporary media, Silicon Valley and the Democrat Party who’re seeking to silence and censor all dissenting voices, predicts Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

In a monologue Tuesday focused on the left’s growing love affair with censorship, the Fox News host and proud free speech enthusiast noted how all three parties are working in tandem to promote a bizarre form of so-called “equity and inclusion” that excludes anyone/anything to the “right-of-center” but does include child pornography.

He began the monologue on Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight” by highlighting top Biden administration official Susan Rice’s vow to inject so-called “equity” into every branch and subset of the federal government.

“The federal government is, above all, an enormous printing press, dispensing trillions of dollars every year. According to Rice, much of that money will now be distributed on the basis of equity. That means it will go to people who do not possess ‘privilege,'” he said.

But who exactly qualifies as “privileged” — and why?

“[O]f course, there isn’t an answer. That’s the point,” Carlson continued.

“They can’t really define privilege. They can’t tell us who, in a country with no majority culture, actually qualifies as a ‘minority.'”

So what’s the point? It’s to punish and silence dissenters. What happened to Parler, the Fox News host noted, is a perfect example of this.

Because the non-establishment, non-corporate social media outlet had allowed dissenters to speak openly and freely without authoritarian moderators controlling their speech, it became the target of the censors on the left, including those in media.

“It’s garbage. The stuff on Parler is remarkable garbage,” MSNBC’s Ali Velshi angrily exclaimed during an on-air report earlier this month.

In response to this bigotry, for a lack of a better word, from media elites and Democrat Party officials, Silicon Valley pounced.

“A few weeks ago, [tech monopolies] pulled it right off the Internet. Parler no longer exists. When the history of this period is written, the destruction of Parler will get its own chapter, and so will the mindless corporate shills who applauded its destruction,” Carlson said.

What makes Parler’s destruction so mindless, he continued, is that the alleged reasoning for it — that the social media network had allowed supposedly immoral, offensive content to proliferate — is drenched in hypocrisy.

Why? Because Amazon has stubbornly refused to apply the same standard to Twitter, which is a hot bed of truly immoral, offensive content in the form of child pornography.

“We should also tell you that Amazon Web Services provides hosting services to Twitter, and according to one lawsuit, Twitter ‘benefited from and neglected to remove an exploitative video — featuring a [minor boy] and another minor — which was retweeted thousands of times and received at least 167,000 views on the platform,'” according to Carlson.

“The lawsuit says that the minor and his mother repeatedly asked Twitter to take down the video, but Twitter refused to do so until the Department of Homeland Security intervened,” he added.

This is true. The New York Post broke the story on Jan. 21st. Yet as of Jan. 27th, Fox News was the only other mainstream outlet that had covered it.

Every otter outlet — including the many like MSNBC that had shrieked with such rage over the allegedly immoral content on Parler — has chosen to ignore it. According to Carlson, this is no coincidence.

“There’s a lot of garbage floating around on Amazon Web Services and on Twitter, but according to our media class, none of it would justify shutting down Amazon Web Services,” he said.

Nor would the fact that “Amazon Web Services provides Web services for the CIA,” “has built data centers in China” and “runs a ‘innovation center’ in close partnership with the Communist Party of China.”

“It’s not clear what they’re innovating, but whatever it is, it’s not a problem for our leaders because no one in the Chinese government voted for Donald Trump, so it’s not like they’re dangerous. But you know who is dangerous? Any American citizen who doesn’t agree with MSNBC,” Carlson added.

And therein lies the crux of what’s happening across media, government and tech. Despite the left’s lofty speeches, they don’t actually want equity and inclusion.

Equity and inclusion means that you will believe what they tell you to believe, or else you’re a terrorist and they can hurt you because we hurt terrorists,” the Fox News host explained.

The remark about “terrorists” was a reference to House Intelligence Committee chair Adam Schiff and disgraced former CIA Director John Brennan’s calls for new domestic terror laws to be instituted and then applied against ostensible “domestic terrorists.”

Except, as noted by former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, the left’s modern definition of a “domestic terrorist” is pretty much anyone to the right-of-center.

The irony is that the likes of Schiff and Brennan are the real “domestic terrorists,” according to Gabbard.

Of course, in Joe Biden’s America, this isn’t how things will work. Rather, in his America, anyone with an opposing/dissenting voice will be targeted for punishment and censorship, because apparently, nothing says “equity and inclusion” like exclusion and bigotry.
