Biden struggles to remove lips from press corps’ buttocks

The corrupt media establishment has already proven with their fawning coverage of President Joe Biden that the four-year vendetta they engaged in with his predecessor was a personal matter with former President Donald Trump.

But Ol’ Joe, who cut his teeth on the Barack Obama slobbering love affair approach to the media, isn’t taking any chances.

Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, panning the previous administration that led the nation to a million COVID-19 vaccinations a day, Biden applied the old proverb that you can catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, complimenting the elitist media by telling them they are the “smartest” people in town.

“It’s no secret that we have recently discovered, in the final days of the transition — and it wasn’t ’til the final days we got the kind of cooperation we needed — that once we arrived, the vaccine program is worse shape than we anticipated or expected,” the 78-year-old president said.  “A lot of you who follow this, and nobody is, I mean this sincerely, the press is the smartest group of people in town; you hone this stuff down, clearly — I think you found the same thing.”

Not lost in the mix is that Biden was showing that he’s simpatico with the media on their criticisms of Trump.

What Biden’s media allies brushed right over in reporting that Biden was upping his goal to 1.5 million vaccinations a day is that on Monday, he didn’t seem to realize that 1 million per day was already being achieved.

“That is my promise, that we would get 100 million vaccinations,” Biden said. “I think with the grace of God and the goodwill of the neighbor and the crick not rising, as the old saying goes, I think we may be able to get that to 1.5 million a day, rather than 1 million a day, but we have to meet that goal of a million a day.”

There’s also the ready acceptance of a bevy of executive orders from Biden, with the unprecedented tally north of 30 now — the media was quick to slam Trump for using executive orders, accusing him of being a dictator.

But sucking up to the media is what really got social media’s attention — beginning with the obvious:
