A young woman purporting to be from the South — a large number of Southerners refuse to claim her — offered her take on socialism, comparing it to a potluck.

The analogy is so stupid you risk dumbing down your own intellect just by listening to it, but it’s not an indictment against the foul-mouthed liberal woman as much as it is against education in America today.

Her take passes as elevated thought in liberal circles, but it’s an important case study of how poorly-educated young people are today, reflecting anti-capitalist views being taught on just about every college campus in America.

Tagged the “SOUTHERN view of Socialism,” the young lady addresses her message to conservatives as she gives a cheery take on socialism.

“Do you know what I think of when I hear the word socialism?” she asked. “I think about a potluck. There is nothing more southern and country than a motherf*cking potluck.”

“Everybody brings food and everybody eats,” the woman further proclaimed. “Those who can’t bring food still eat. They can contribute in other ways, like bringing napkins and drinks, setting the table or doing the dishes.”

She then launched into an attack on capitalism, criticizing the “sh*t minimum wage” for barely being enough to survive on, as if the entry-level wage marks the pinnacle of people’s aspirations.

“With a potluck, everybody eats plenty,” she concluded, with a smile.

Meanwhile, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., who was just in the news for steering nearly $2.8 million to her latest husband’s political consulting firm, chimed in.

“Sweet and simple,” the Muslim lawmaker tweeted.

One of the saddest things about the video is that it will make the rounds on social media and will be embraced by poorly informed young people who’ll walk away with a sunny take on a system of government that has never been successful and has brought much misery to the world.

A social media user under the name Fuzzy Chimp schooled our hero on some of the realities of socialism, like participation not being voluntary and that authorities get to decide who eats what.

Other astute social media users were just quick to educate the poorly informed girl.

Here’s a sampling of some of the responses to the story from Twitter:
