Instead of reporting on the dozens of violent attacks faced by Trump supporters as they rallied and protested peacefully in Washington, D.C. this Saturday, at least one far-left establishment media network chose to make the story about itself.

“Reporting” live from the Million MAGA March in D.C., “reporter” Ellison Barber of MSNBC claimed that Trump supporters were “following and chasing us.”

Barber, who’s reportedly considered to be a “journalist,” also whined when the Trump supporters at the rally began peacefully chanting “fake news” at her.

Missing from her “reporting” was any legitimate context.

Watch what actually happened below:

Everything was perfectly fine at first.

“If you look back here, you can see the crowd. It’s hard to see exactly how far they go back there through the buildings, but if you take a look in here, you can see all of the flags. It gives you a sense of just how deep and how far back this crowd goes,” she initially reported.

“I met a woman here this morning who told me she drove from Florida and wanted to be here to show support for President Trump and also to protest what she believed is a fraudulent, unfair, inaccurate election. So you can see all of the people still gathered back over here.”

As she spoke, nobody bothered or hassled her because she was telling the God-honest truth. But as is typical for modern “journalists,” she then proceeded to spew bold-faced lies.

“This is an event that was organized by a number of different groups. We started seeing posts on social media. It seemed to originate with a group known as the Proud Boys saying that they wanted people to come out to this rally,” she said.

If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because President Trump mentioned them in the first president’s debate. They are a far-right extremist group. We saw a dozen of them gathered near us before this live shot.”

Fact-check: FALSE.

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden brought the Proud Boys up at the first presidential debate. Moreover, the Proud Boys is a pro-free-speech, pro-liberty, multiracial conservative fraternity whose leader is a black Cuban.

Annoyed by Barber telling lies, some of the Trump supporters standing near her and her crew began peacefully chanting “fake news.”

This prompted the MSNBC “reporter” to begin telling more lies.

The crowd here is chanting ‘fake news, fake news.’ They’re not fans of ours, as you can tell. That’s fine so long as they give us a little bit of space. It’s hostile here, at least for us. They’re following us and chasing us as we walk further back,” she said.

Fact-check: FALSE.

She was not being “chased.”

For a glimpse of what it feels like to genuinely be chased by unpeaceful hooligans, take a glimpse at the following video footage of left-wing extremists — likely the type who watch MSNBC — chasing and attacking Trump supporters young and old alike.

(*Graphic content):

THAT is what it means to be “chased.” Of course, it’s guaranteed with nearly 100 percent certainty that none of this footage will ever be aired by MSNBC or any other mainstream left-wing establishment network.

It’s apparently more beneficial to their narrative about “evil” Republicans to instead portray genuinely peaceful conservative protesters as the bad guys and genuinely violent and dangerous left-wing extremists as the good guys.

Barber’s segment eventually concluded with her whining a bit more.

“This gives you a sense of the crowd here. They have no intention of accepting the election results. And as you can tell from the jeering right now, not fans of ours, either,” she said before turning the program back to MSNBC host Alex Witt.

Witt then closed the segment with a self-congratulatory pat on the back.

“Yeah but you know what, I am [a fan of MSNBC]. And all I can say about that is: how charming,” she smugly declared.

Yes, “how charming” it is for left-wing media “reporters” and hosts to weave a false narrative about alleged right-wing “extremists,” all while ignoring the actual extremism and radicalism being perpetrated by bona-fide left-wing extremists.

And all this from the same network whose “reporters” had only months earlier described a full-fledged left-wing riot as a “peaceful protest” …
