President Donald Trump buzzed a gathering crowd of supporters in Washington, D.C., on Saturday in his motorcade on his way to his Virginia golf resort, as his reelection campaign continues to battle alleged voter improprieties in court.

A video posted to Twitter by CNN correspondent Sara Sidner shows the president waving at supporters as they ran alongside his motorcade downtown earlier Saturday, cheering and chanting phrases like “Stop the Fraud,” “Best Prez Ever,” and “Four More Years!”

On Friday, the president hinted that he might attend the rally but he merely drove by instead, much to the delight of fans and supporters.

“Heartwarming to see all of the tremendous support out there, especially the organic Rallies that are springing up all over the Country, including a big one on Saturday in D.C,” Trump tweeted Friday. “I may even try to stop by and say hello.”

He added: “This Election was Rigged, from Dominion all the way up & down!”

As of Saturday, media organizations have Democratic rival Joe Biden up in the race 290 electoral votes to the president’s 232; 270 are needed to win the presidency.

But the Trump campaign has filed legal challenges in a number of states. And to the president’s “Dominion” reference, he is likely talking about unfounded allegations that Dominion Voting Systems electronic machines used in several key battleground states improperly changed votes from him to Biden on and after election day.

In an interview Friday with Fox Business Network host Lou Dobbs, former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, a member of Trump’s legal team, said his campaign has obtained “staggering” evidence implicating the machines in extensive vote fraud.

“I can hardly wait to put forth all the evidence we have collected on Dominion,” she said.

As for the demonstrations in the nation’s capital, a “March for Trump” organized by Women for America First is planned to begin at Freedom Plaza to the U.S. Supreme Court. Event organizations planned to draw around 10,000, according to Fox News, which cited the group’s park permit.

Reps. Mike Kelly (R-Pa.), Paul Gosar (R-Ariz.), Louie Gohmert (R-Texas), Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), and others are expected to give speeches.

Another pro-Trump event called “The Million MAGA March” is also planned for Saturday in the nation’s capital. Patriotic group the Proud Boys have noted on social media that some of its members are planning to attend. That march will begin at the Supreme Court building and end at Freedom Plaza.

“The Million Maga March will be the greatest Trump rally in history,” the MMM group tweeted. “We demand a transparent election process, free of fraudulent ballots. We stand with President Donald J Trump in his fight for freedom against crooked D.C. bureaucrats!”

Counter-demonstrations are also being planned but as of this writing, there had been a few reports of minor skirmishes between pro- and anti-Trump demonstrators.
