If the media declares Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden the winner of the 2020 race, he intends to begin addressing the nation as president — even if incumbent President Donald Trump challenges his victory in court.
Plans by the Democrat nominee to prematurely declare victory are reportedly rooted in what happened after the 2000 election, “when Al Gore hung back while George W. Bush declared victory in that contested election, putting the Democrat on the defensive while Bush acted like the winner,” according to Axios.
“So if Biden is declared the winner, he’ll begin forming his government and looking presidential — and won’t yield to doubts Trump might try to sow,” the outlet reported Tuesday.
What’s interesting is the milquetoast reaction this announcement provoked from the media, including Axios: Just standard reporting with no commentary.
“Scoop: Biden’s plan to assert control,” the title of Axios’s piece reads.
Yet when word emerged earlier this week that the president plans to declare victory Tuesday if he looks to be “ahead,” Axios framed the matter entirely differently.
Look:
Hmm …
Former President Barack Hussein Obama also weighed in on the matter.
“That’s not something that a leader of a democracy does. That’s something a two-bit dictator does,” he reportedly said.

Yet he’s had nothing to say about Biden’s plans to prematurely declare victory. Nor has he commented on Biden’s campaign manager saying that “under no scenario will Donald Trump be declared a victory on election night.”
To issue such a prediction is highly irresponsible …

Equally irresponsible is the decision by Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro, a Democrat, to suggest that the only way for the president to win Pennsylvania is by cheating.
“If all the votes are added up in PA, Trump is going to lose. That’s why he’s working overtime to subtract as many votes as possible from this process. For the record, he’s 0-6 against us in court. We’ve protected voting rights. Now, ignore the noise—vote!” he wrote in a tweet Saturday.

The tweet provoked backlash from virtually everybody but Democrats and their media allies.
Look:
Even if you don’t like Trump this is extremely irresponsible to call the election in your state before Election Day, especially since you’re an elected state official yourself.

Why exactly again do you hate Trump?

This weekend the Attorney General of Pennsylvania vowed to fix the election for his party. Today he’s calling on citizens to attack one another. What is going on in the Democratic Party? Are they this worried that Americans will pick Donald J. Trump a second time?

Days later, the media are now just watching in indifference as Biden trots out his own plans to declare premature victory. The bias is clear.
As one Twitter user put it, “So if Trump looks like the winner the news organizations want to wait till all ballots are counted but as soon as Biden looks like the winner they will announce it? Yeah this is messed up.”
Indeed.
Look at additional backlash to Biden’s announcement below:

So Biden’s going to do…exactly what the left is saying Trump should not do under any circumstances. Sounds about as fair as equity in place of equality.

Just following their standard radical leftist resistance pathology. Projection, followed by their usual game plan:
Deny, disrupt, deceive, deflect, demonize, demoralize, destroy, diminish, divide, distort, distract and delay.

One of the best examples of why this ruling class has to be told to leave Washington DC forever.
The swamp is the people who make their own rules because they believe they know better after decades of getting rich off the American people.

Sounds like he’s a massive hypocrite, then.
By their own rules that they established, he should be censored for doing so, otherwise how can we actually trust their legitimacy?— Kai – Mostly peaceful (@tcmp72) November 3, 2020
