They don’t call him Hidin’ Biden for nothing …

Less than an hour after Fox News aired a bombshell interview late Tuesday with Tony Bobulinski, the former Hunter Biden associate who’s accused him of illicit activities, Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden essentially called yet another lid.

“Biden isn’t traveling tomorrow,” Jennifer Epstein of Bloomberg reported at 9:57 pm Tuesday evening, less than an hour after the conclusion of Fox News’ “Tucker Carlson Tonight.”

“Instead, he’ll be focused on Covid, getting briefed by public health experts and then speaking on ‘his plans to beat COVID-19, lower health care costs, and protect Americans with pre-existing conditions,’ his campaign says.”

While Epstein, who works for the Democrat media, didn’t say it outright, it was clear to everybody else that Biden had essentially called a lid yet again. It didn’t help that his reasons for not traveling sounded like excuses.

Look:

To be fair to Biden, he did intend to participate in a photo op and deliver a speech. An official press release from his campaign specifically said he would “receive a briefing from public health experts, which will include a photo spray.”

Still, his sparse activities contrasted sharply with President Donald Trump’s busy schedule, which called for two rallies in Arizona and one in Florida for Wednesday alone.

Why the discrepancy between the two’s schedules? While it’s true Biden has called numerous lids this campaign season, the timing of this particular announcement raised questions.

About an hour before the announcement broke, Fox News finished airing an interview between host Tucker Carlson and Bobulinski, the latter of whom had had dropped countless bombshells about both Biden and his younger son, Hunter.

The biggest bombshell was the assertion that Biden had lied through his teeth when he’d claimed at the final presidential debate last week that he’d had no knowledge of his son’s business dealings and hadn’t been involved in them.

“Yeah. That’s a blatant lie. When he states that, that is a blatant lie. Obviously the world’s aware that I attended the debate last Thursday, and in that debate he made a specific statement around questions around this from the president,” Bobulinski said.

“And I’ll be honest with you: I almost stood up and screamed liar and walked out, because I was shocked that after four days or five days that they prepped for this, that the Biden family is taking that position to the world.”

He added, “I would have much preferred the Biden family go on record and define these facts to the American people and the globe versus me sitting here having a discussion with you on it.”

Listen:

Yet the former VP has stubbornly refused to speak about the allegations surrounding his son, preferring instead to essentially hide in his basement again and again.

Later during the discussion, Bobulinski was asked by Carlson whether Biden’s business dealings with China could “constrain his ability to deal with China.”

Bobulinski answered with an emphatic yes.

“So I think Joe Biden and the Biden family is compromised. I just don’t see, given the history here and the facts, how Joe can’t be influenced in some manner based on the history that they have here with CEFC [a Chinese energy company],” he said.

Listen:

Had Biden chosen to schedule any real events for Wednesday, there would have been opportunities for reporters to question him about these claims — not that they would have.

Given his abrupt decision late Tuesday to basically cut off any opportunities for him to be questioned, the assumption therefore was is that he’s trying to hide … from the truth:
