As the political party that lives and dies on identity politics pushes a highly divisive racial narrative ahead of the upcoming election, in the hope of creating enough fear among people of color to ensure the defeat of President Trump, Americans must ask what kind of country have we become?

When two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies were ambushed over the weekend, both being shot in the head when a black-clad assassin walked up to their vehicle and opened fire without warning, Black Lives Matter protesters showed up at the hospital where the deputies were fighting for their lives and chanted, “We hope they die!”

As despicable as that may be, a video has emerged from the scene of the ambush that captures a black man laughing and mocking the wounded deputies as they struggle to stay alive.

The footage of evil personified was shared online by actor James Woods.

Here’s the reaction of an eyewitness to the ambush of two Deputies shot in the head in #Compton. The victims are in the background. No one is going to help them. Vote like your life depends on it,” he added.

Other bystanders are seen in the video, yet no one goes to the aid of the two critically wounded officers. One man is heard saying, “This is the only justice we going to get.”

The man featured in the video is clearly enjoying what just took place, using vulgar language to express his joy.

“They going down in Compton!” he said, speaking of the two deputies. “They just got busted on. That n*gga on his knees.”

“Police just got aired out, n*gga!” he said repeatedly.

One of the deputies is a 24-year-old male, and the other a 31-year-old mother of a six-year-old boy.

According to a tweet from Fox Los Angeles reporter Bill Melugin, which included a heart-wrenching photo of the bloody female deputy calling for help — shared with the permission of the family — the young mother very likely saved her partner’s life.

“I’m told female deputy was shot through jaw, still radioed for help [and] applied [a] tourniquet to male deputy’s wounds,” Melugin tweeted.

Another positive factor shared by the reporter is that both deputies are now stable.

The female deputy was shot in the jaw and arms and, according to the senior sheriff’s officials, is listed in critical but stable condition, ABC News reported.

Her partner suffered gunshot wounds to his forehead, arms and a hand, the official said.

The gunman is still at large and a $100,000 reward was authorized by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors on Sunday for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the coward.

Authorities believe the shooter is a black male between the ages of 28 to 30, who ran to a black four-door sedan and sped away after the ambush.

“We at the LASD would like to offer our sincerest appreciation for the overwhelming support being offered from all over the Nation,” Sheriff Alex Villanueva said. “We also wish to thank the LA County Board of Supervisors for sponsoring the $100K reward for the arrest and conviction of this coward.”

As for what kind of society we are becoming, this response to the above tweet may shed some light there:
