Biden on pushing national mask mandate when outside: ‘It’s not about your rights’

Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate, Kamala Harris, pushed for a one-size-fits-all national mask mandate, saying Americans should put aside their rights and submit to big-government edicts.

Biden made the remarks during a press conference with Kamala Harris in Delaware.

“Every single American should be wearing a mask when they are outside for the next three months at minimum,” Biden said. “Every governor should mandate mandatory mask-wearing. Let’s institute a mask mandate nationwide starting immediately and we will save lives. It’s not about your rights; it’s about your responsibilities as an American.”

Biden continued: “The estimates are we’ll save over 40,000 lives in the next three months if that is done.”

Does it make any sense to force a farmer in Missouri or a rancher in Texas to wear a mask while working outdoors?

Kamala agreed: “As a nation, we should all be wearing a mask for the next three months because it will save lives.”

Biden insists that masks save lives, but he never criticized the lack of masks during the countless Black Lives Matter riots, protests, and funeral extravaganzas over the past three months.

Twitter torpedoed Biden, saying he should first demand that Democrats like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo and Congressman Jerry Nadler set the example by wearing masks before ordering everyone else to.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, a Hillary Clinton superfan, has also been photographed several times not wearing his mask.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh said if masks are so effective, why didn’t anyone ever suggest a mask mandate to curb the flu?

“It’s not about safety. It’s about control.”

Steve Cortes, a Trump campaign advisor, spotlighted the hypocrisy of Biden trying to force Americans to wear masks, while simultaneously championing millions of illegal aliens, who violated federal laws by sneaking into the country.

Latin American health officials confirmed that the multiple caravans of illegal aliens flooding the border every day carry contagious infectious diseases like chickenpox and respiratory viruses.

Dr. Marc Siegel of the NYU Langone Hospital slammed Biden’s “outside” mask mandate, since outdoor transmission of COVID-19 is rare.

Siegel’s 96-year-old father was recently cured of the coronavirus, thanks to hydroxychloroquine, which the Left has vehemently attacked.

Dr. Siegel said Biden and Kamala are pushing “the politics of fear, big-government edition.”

“What is the science behind this?” Dr. Siegel asked. “There’s some recent studies that show that masking — if you use them properly like when you’re close together or when you’re indoors when the ventilation is poor — likely decrease the amount of viral spread.”

Dr. Siegel continued: “There’s also been simulations that show that masking may help decrease the spread of the virus. That’s not proof, but it’s enough for me to like the idea of masks. But Vice President Biden is talking about outside. Outside is where it’s much more difficult to spread the virus.”

Siegel also slammed a Wisconsin official who ordered his employees to wear masks while video conferencing from home, even when they’re alone.

“Do not do that,” Dr. Siegel warned.

If masks are so effective, why are Democrats demanding the mass release of criminals from jail? Why not just force felons to wear masks in jail?

Besides, a national mask mandate is meaningless if you defund the police. Who’s going to enforce the mandate if there are no cops?

Reminder: A security guard was recently shot to death for asking a customer to wear a mask inside a Family Dollar store.

There’s debate over whether a mask mandate is Constitutional.

Judge Andrew Napolitano recently said the federal and state governments do not have the authority to force everyone to wear a mask.

Moreover, the government gets its power from the people — relying on the “consent of the governed,” as stated in the Declaration of Independence.

But no American consented to wearing masks everywhere or being deprived of their right to work.

The coronavirus is a serious health crisis. But many say the panic-pimping media are overhyping it to terrify Americans.

Why? Because scared people are easier to control. This is important because the November election is around the corner.
