Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez sulked on Twitter after being allotted just 60 seconds to speak at next week’s virtual Democratic National Convention.
AOC (aka – “the Bronx Bolshevik“) did not directly react to the DNC diss, but passive-aggressively quoted a poem, which reads:
“I only have a minute. Sixty seconds in it. Forced upon me, I did not choose it. But I know that I must use it. Give account if I abuse it. Suffer, if I lose it. Only a tiny little minute, But eternity is in it.”
Basically, Ocasio-Cortez suggested that even though she has only 60 seconds to spout her left-wing propaganda, she’s going to make the most of it.

Ocasio-Cortez’s “poor me” routine ignited a flurry of Twitter reactions–both positive and negative.
A black woman Democrat told AOC to quit whining and noted that she didn’t even congratulate Kamala Harris for being selected as Biden’s running mate.

Tara Reade, who accused Joe Biden of raping her, praised AOC while slamming establishment Democrats for promoting a “rape culture.”
Reade tweeted: “Tear down that raggedy a** DNC leadership and bring us to our feet like you do, AOC! One minute or one hour you can do this. No more institutionalized rape culture. BTW how long is Bill Clinton getting to speak?”

Others pointed out that giving AOC just 60 seconds to speak is “a slap to the Progressive wing.”
“It’s a constant spite of us. They think we will cower and peter ou[t]. They are wrong. We ain’t going anywhere. With AOC as our leader we’re just getting started. Now that the squad was re-elected we are ready to rumble in the halls of Congress.”

It’s not surprising that the Democratic Party is trying to distance itself from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who’s considered the leader of the Party’s far-left faction.
Despite the media narrative, most Democrats are centrists — not far-left extremists.
Businessman Steve Cortes is a senior advisor to the Trump 2020 campaign. He said the Democrat Party has been hijacked by radical extremists, and this is disastrous for them.
“This is not your parents’ or your grandparents’ Democratic Party. This Party has been hijacked by the most radical elements of American politics.
And that’s not just my opinion. They actually put it on paper, which shocked me.
If you look at the so-called Unity Task Force document that Joe Biden wrote with Bernie Sanders–with input from members of “The Squad” like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez–and if you read the economic components of their agenda, this is an incredibly radical takeover of the American economy, including crushing the American energy industry.”
Cortes continued: “If we elect Joe Biden, he promised that he’s going to crush the American energy industry. And that will have catastrophic effects on financial markets.”
In April, AOC gleefully celebrated the collapse in oil prices and accompanying one-million job losses for the energy industry.
“You absolutely love to see it!” Ocasio-Cortez cooed after oil prices cratered.
