Black Lives Matters supporters petitioned the UK Parliament to “change the racist image” of the archangel St. Michael on a medal that Queen Elizabeth awards to individuals for extraordinary foreign service.
The move spotlights the Left’s ongoing attacks on Christianity.

Race-baiting grievance mongers want to remove the image of St. Michael the Archangel, claiming the artistic depiction is “racist” because it reminds them of the death of black American George Floyd.
Floyd’s death by former Minneapolis cop Derek Chauvin ignited the race riots that have burned down Democrat-run cities across the United States.
The Change.org petition was launched two weeks ago. It reads:
“Change the racist image on the KCMG medal!
The image on the Honorary Knights/Dames Commander (KCMG/DCMG) star is a white-skinned angel stood on the head/neck of a black-skinned devil.
This is a highly offensive image. It is also reminiscent of the recent murder of George Floyd by the white policeman in the same manner presented here in this medal.
We the undersigned are calling for this medal to completely redesigned in a more appropriate way and for an official apology to be given for the offence it has given!”
For the record, the artistic depiction shows St. Michael the Archangel standing on a defeated Satan.
Despite leftist claims that Satan is depicted as a “black-skinned devil,” most images of St. Michael show Satan as Caucasian.
The prayer of St. Michael goes like this:
“Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray.
And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen.”
There is no mention of race in St. Michael’s prayer. It merely asks for God to defend Christians against Satan’s evil.
In an Amazon promo photo for a figurine depicting Saint Michael, the devil is neither white nor black. He’s green.
Last month, Black Lives Matter rioters torched St. John’s Episcopal Church, which is located one block from the White House.
Unhinged leftists set fire to the historic 204-year-old “Church of Presidents” in the name of promoting racial equality.
Curiously, these same rioters have never torched any Muslim mosques, nor did they have an issue with St. John’s Church during the eight-year presidency of Barack Obama, the nation’s first black president.
As it is, there has been a prolonged attack on Christianity in America for years. In fact, public school children grades 5 through 12 are being indoctrinated on Islam through lessons financed by taxpayers — unbeknownst to unsuspecting American parents.
Martin Mawyer is the president of the Christian Action Network. He wrote to the Department of Education, challenging the constitutionality of an Islamic education program offered through the PBS LearningMedia website, which is financed by federal taxpayer dollars.

Martin Mawyer said he was astonished when he viewed the “educational” lesson plan that gives detailed instructions on Islamic prayers and rituals and had teachers quiz students on it.
Mawyer said he was especially disgusted because similar lessons are not offered on Christianity, Judaism or any other religion.
Mawyer said he believes Islam-promoting leftists would be outraged if similar lessons on Christianity or another religion were forced down students’ throats at public schools.
“We know the ACLU would be outraged!” Mawyer said. “They’d be running to the courthouse steps with a lawsuit in their hand. They’d probably break a leg trying to get up those steps fast enough!”
Amazingly, Islamic education lessons have become common across the United States. In 2017, two New Jersey moms said their middle-school-aged children were being brainwashed in Islam.
When they asked their children’s school districts why students were forced to learn about Islam as part of their “core curriculum” but not about Christianity and Judaism, the moms were smeared as bigots.
Reminder: Last week, a Black Lives Matter “leader” laughably claimed that Jesus was black.
