The president of the Greater New York Black Lives Matter chapter justified the use of violence to achieve its amorphous goals, and threatened that “if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system.”

Hawk Newsome made the ominous threat while discussing the goal of Black Lives Matter. During the interview, he went off on a bizarre tangent claiming that “Jesus Christ is the most famous black radical revolutionary in history.”

Fox News host Martha MacCallum said: “You have said that violence is sometimes necessary in these situations. What exactly is it that you hope to achieve through violence?”

Newsome replied: “It’s interesting that you would pose that question like that because this country is built upon violence. What was the American Revolution? What’s our diplomacy across the globe? We go in and we blow up countries and we replace their leaders with leaders who we like. So for any American to accuse us of being violent is extremely hypocritical.”

Martha said her question was referencing previous comments Newsome made where he appeared to condone BLM’s use violence.

Newsome suggested that Black Lives Matter was justified in beating up random white people because it was self-defense for alleged police brutality against black men. Huh??

MacCallum said she watched numerous interviews where Hawk Newsome said of America: “Burn it down! Burn it down!”

Newsome responded: “I said if this country doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. I could be speaking figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It’s a matter of interpretation.”

It’s not a matter of interpretation, since BLM rioters have torched buildings and torn down statues across the country. There has also been a shocking escalation in the violent beatdowns of random white people.

Hawk Newsome suggested that Black Lives Matter riots brought about the change that they sought, so violence appears to be the answer.

“Think about the last few weeks,” Newsome said. “Since we started protesting, there have been eight cops fired across the country.”

President Trump reacted on Twitter by saying: “Black Lives Matter leader states, “If U.S. doesn’t give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it”. This is Treason, Sedition, Insurrection!”

Later in the interview, Martha MacCallum asked Newsome about a quote by Martin Luther King Jr. where he said: “Let us be dissatisfied until that day when nobody will shout, ‘White power!’ when nobody will shout, ‘Black power!’ But everybody will talk about God’s power and human power.'”

That’s when Newsome made the laughable claim that Jesus Christ was black and then compared Black Lives Matter thugs to Jesus.

Jesus Christ is the most famous black radical revolutionary in history,” Newsome said. “And he was treated just like Dr. King. He was arrested on occasion and he was also crucified or assassinated. This is what happens to black activists. We are killed by the government.”

He continued: “It’s just the hypocrisy and the white supremacy in America and in the world that show us portraits of a pasty, white Jesus. Jesus was not white…I just want black liberation and black sovereignty — by any means necessary.”

Why don’t any of these “protesters” who hate America ever move out?

Jesus may not have been white. But he wasn’t black, according to numerous historians. The gospels in the Bible say that Jesus was Jewish, which means he looked Middle Eastern.

“We don’t know what [Jesus] looked like, but if all of the things that we do know about him are true, he was a Palestinian Jewish man living in Galilee in the first century,” said Robert Cargill, assistant professor of religious studies at the University of Iowa. “So he would have looked like a Palestinian Jewish man of the first century. He would have looked like a Jewish Galilean.”
