Ilhan Omar’s daughter promotes list of ‘supplies’ for rioters burning and looting Minneapolis

Amid the chaos, rioting, and looting that followed the death of Minneapolis resident George Floyd last week, the daughter of U.S. Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.) passed on a list of “supplies” for protesters tweeted by the Twin Cities Democratic Socialists.

Items on the list retweeted by Isra Hirsi included bandages, saline for eye washing, and plywood for shields that could also double as weapons to be used against police officers.

The original tweet from the Twin Cities DSA requested that the supplies be brought to protesters who were currently “at the 3rd precinct” — the Minneapolis police building that rioters attacked after officers had retreated.

Police officer Derek Chauvin was fired after a video showing him pinning Floyd to the pavement with his knee surfaced last week. Floyd was held down by the officer for several minutes, allegedly leading to his death. Three other officers on the scene were dismissed by the department as well.

Chauvin was arrested on Friday and charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter, though a subsequent autopsy report “revealed no physical findings that support a diagnosis of traumatic asphyxia or strangulation.”

Rather, the coroner’s office noted, a combination of force and Floyd’s health condition contributed to his death.

In any event, following the incident, huge riots broke out as any protesters burned buildings, smashed windows, and looted area businesses.

Following the release of the autopsy report, Omar blasted the Hennepin County prosecuting attorney’s office and demanded that the case be turned over to Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison.

** Warning: Language

Previously, Omar did her best to promote anger and division by alleging that “black and brown bodies” are regularly targeted, and especially by police.

“We must end the targeting of black and brown bodies by our law enforcement. Today, I introduced a resolution to condemn police brutality, racial profiling and excessive use of force with my sister in service @RepPressley,” she wrote on Twitter.

As other Democrats and Leftists have done, Omar also placed the blame for what happened in the Democrat-run city on President Donald Trump.

“Today, the president of the United States invoked the words of white supremacists not once but twice to call for violence against American citizens. Is it surprising? No. But it is shameful, and we cannot become numb to his racism,” she wrote without any condemnation of the rioters who were destroying public property and burning the businesses of people who had nothing to do with Floyd’s death.

In fact, the president was merely standing up for Minneapolis residents who were being unjustly victimized by rioters because they, too, are American citizens who have the right to the protection they weren’t getting from the city’s Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey.

While Omar and her daughter blame ‘racism’ and President Trump while providing aid and comfort to protesters, cops around the country are under siege for an incident they were not involved in.

Several social media posts Friday and Saturday show officers being attacked and forced to defend themselves, often against numerical odds that put them at risk of being injured or killed.

In one post, a woman who slugged a police officer twice gets knocked out by another officer who came to the first cop’s defense.

The woman appears to be black, and the restraint of the white officer suggests he didn’t want to escalate a situation that could be used as another (false) example of ‘police racism.’
