The narcissistic, attention-seeking, anti-Trump singer turned crazy old woman Madonna is back in the spotlight again, and as usual, she’s managed to exasperate everybody.

She accomplished this by posting a tweet early Thursday evening that showed her adopted black son passionately dancing to Michael Jackson’s classic song “They Don’t Care About Us.”

She captioned the video by claiming her son was specifically dancing to pay tribute to George Floyd and “all acts of racism and discrimination.”

Watch:

While the dancing by her 14-year-old son was certainly charming and poignant, Madonna’s decision to share it publicly as a virtue-signaling stunt wasn’t well-received, with even hardcore leftists like Charlotte Clymer crying foul.

In fact, if you look at the backlash, it seems like it’s the most bipartisan exasperation that’s been seen on the social media network in ages.

Look (*Language warning):

There were a couple of key complaints, the lead one being that the video was uber-cringe.

The second complaint was that the video was insensitive and tone-deaf.

“A bit insensitive as you’re a person with a platform to voice their concern, you should be doing a lot more. Having your adopted black son dance ain’t going to force change to happen,” one Twitter user wrote.

“Good intentions but completely tone-deaf. Dancing away the racism of murderous cops won’t actually do anything. But thanks for trying!” another added.

The third complaint was that she, a white woman, was engaging in blatant exploitation of not only her adopted son but also Floyd’s death.

The final complaint was that Madonna was downplaying what happened to Floyd by acting as if her son’s otherwise praiseworthy dancing would somehow fix the world’s problems.

“I think all we need to do is show this to all the rioters in #Minneapolis, and they’ll realize @Madonna’s video has solved the problem of racism all over the world, and the violence will stop. Phew, that was close!” one cynic wrote.

Madonna’s latest failed stunt comes only days after she posted an Instagram video of Floyd’s death and captioned it by writing, “F–k the police.”

It likewise comes two months after she drew massive backlash by arguing that the coronavirus is “the great equalizer.”
