Elon Musk — the billionaire founder of Tesla and SpaceX — invoked the blockbuster film “The Matrix” when he exhorted his 34 million Twitter followers to “take the red pill.”
Musk’s tweet referenced a scene in “The Matrix” where Morpheus offers Neo two choices: “You take the blue pill and the story ends. You wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. Or you take the red pill and you stay in Wonderland. And I’ll show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.”

Forty-five minutes later, Musk jokingly tweeted: “When u take DayQuil and NyQuil at same time.”
The meme that Elon posted means that you can’t take both the red pill and blue pill because they cancel each other out.

Taking the red pill means awakening yourself to grim realities instead of deluding yourself with false narratives in order to avoid painful truths.
Trump supporters co-opted the meme in 2016 after Donald Trump exposed the media’s partisan bias and unapologetic history of egregious lies.
If you’re “red-pilled,” you choose to open your eyes to the harsh reality that the mainstream media (as well as academia/Hollywood) are gaslighting the public in order to push left-wing agendas.
Musk invoked the “Matrix” battle cry to protest the indefinite nationwide lockdowns that have halted production at his California Tesla factory and crippled the U.S. economy.
Musk’s tweet urging his followers to “take the red pill” garnered 91,000 retweets and was liked more than 453,000 times. First daughter Ivanka Trump responded by tweeting: “Taken!”

Predictably, leftists got triggered because Ivanka and Musk both agreed that people should stop indiscriminately swallowing media hype and hysteria.
Lilly Wachowski, the transgender co-creator of “The Matrix,” reacted by angrily tweeting: “F*ck both of you!”

A Trump supporter hilariously clapped back at the whiny Wachowski.

Lilly Wachowski’s vulgarity and profanity are typical for the angry transgender activist.
In March, Wachowski got triggered because the 2020 Census offered two choices for gender identity (male and female) instead of the 100 genders that science-challenged leftists claim exist.

The controversial Musk takes triggered leftists in stride. He has never backed down in the face of left-wing self-righteousness. Like President Trump, Musk has openly criticized the media for rabidly pimping fake news.
Thought you’d say that. Anytime anyone criticizes the media, the media shrieks “You’re just like Trump!” Why do you think he got elected in the first place? Because no ones believes you any more. You lost your credibility a long time ago.

Last week, a clueless California Democrat tweeted “F*ck Elon Musk” in response to his shocking revelation that he’s moving Tesla out of California to protest the state’s indefinite lockdowns.
Tesla employs 20,000 people in California, and 48,000 worldwide.
Because of California’s extended shutdowns, Tesla was forced to furlough 11,000 workers at its Fremont, California plant, beginning on April 13.

Musk said he also plans to sue California because “unelected and ignorant” health officials are violating his Constitutional freedoms.
“Frankly, this is the final straw,” Elon tweeted. “Tesla will now move its HQ and future programs to Texas/Nevada immediately. If we even retain Fremont manufacturing activity at all, it will be dependent on how Tesla is treated in the future. Tesla is the last carmaker left in California.”
Musk has blasted the extended, one-size-fits-all lockdowns as “fascist” and unconstitutional.
Musk added: “If somebody wants to stay in their house, that’s great. They should be allowed to stay in the house, and they should not be compelled to leave. But to say that they CANNOT leave their house, and they will be arrested if they do — this is fascist!”
Fox News host Jesse Watters agreed, saying Americans have reached a “boiling point” with these endless house arrests.
“There’s a rebellion brewing,” Watters said. “The government can’t lock us down day after day. You can’t force us to commit economic suicide.”
