Chris Cuomo of CNN, a left-leaning network that’s long been accused of being a propaganda arm for the Democrat Party and was caught this week publishing actual Communist Party of China propaganda, has again accused Fox News of being “state TV.”
In a Twitter rant posted Friday afternoon, he lashed out at Fox News host Laura Ingraham for having highlighted the striking dichotomy between the luxurious quarantine lifestyle of Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the not-so-luxurious lifestyle of the countless working-class Americans who’re currently starving.
Look at Ingraham’s original post below:
Ten thousand people in line at a food bank in Texas while Nancy Pelosi is eating ice cream that cost $12 a pint. Maybe we should refer to her as Nancy “let them eat ice cream” Pelosi.

This dichotomy matters because it’s Democrats — not Republicans — who’ve been screwing over working-class Americans by holding up small business loans, arguing for extended lockdowns and going on vacation amid a crisis.
Nevertheless, Cuomo rushed to defend the Democrat Party — as has always been CNN’s wont — and smear Fox News as “state TV” again.
Look:
Constant division. Covid not a big deal. Nazi signs at protest are just irony. Confed flags are just nostalgia. Trump lying is just style. It never ends for state tv. Why are covid protests organized by trump fans and fringe rignt? https://t.co/A3Gx3ZDNSl

He accused FNC of sowing constant division, of downplaying the coronavirus pandemic, of making light of swastikas that were seen at an anti-lockdown protest in Michigan this past week, of defending the president’s lies and of being state TV.
As is almost always the case with CNN, the irony was rich, especially coming from Cuomo, a left-wing commentator who last year defended discriminatory restaurant owners who boot “Make America Great Again” hat-wearing Trump supporters from their establishments.
Regarding the downplaying of the pandemic, flashback to the Jan. 31 episode of CNN’s “New Day.” Here’s what host Alisyn Camerota said at the time: “[T]here’s an important context we need to keep this in, and that is that the flu is more deadly.”
CNN’s resident medical expert, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, eagerly agreed.
“Take a look at the numbers. I mean, this is the U.S. flu season. This season alone — all right — there’s already been 8,200 deaths, 15 million cases, the United States alone, and compare that to worldwide numbers with regard to coronavirus — 200-plus deaths and 9,000-plus cases,” he said.
Listen:
As for the swastikas, they were included in signs meant to portray Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer as a dictator equivalent to deceased Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler.
This comparison was meant to shame Whitmer for imposing draconian shutdown rules that have been described as “arbitrary” and “irrational.”
What’s particularly “outrageous” about her demands “is that the new businesses and activities that Whitmer is targeting can all be safely conducted while adhering to strict social distancing rules,” Reason magazine notes.
“But Whitmer’s theory apparently is that anything beyond absolutely essential conduct jeopardizes frontline workers. This is the precautionary principle on steroids. It considers even an infinitesimal increase in secondary risk as unacceptable, a mindset that could justify stopping virtually any activity anytime.”
It’s this authoritarianism that the protesters in Michigan were attempting to mock.

By the way, if you’re wondering why @GovWhitmer is calling Michigan protestors and citizens swastika waving racists, it’s because of this. This is called satire, Governor. It’s not pro-nazi, but you knew that.

But just as Cuomo had previously done with the president’s “fine people” remarks, he’s again chosen to purposefully distort what happened in Michigan. It’s not surprising, given as misinformation tends to be his strong suit.
As for defending President Donald Trump’s alleged lies, it’s true that FNC boasts some hosts who always reflexively defend the president. However, it also contains plenty of hosts and journalists ready to call him out when necessary.
Over at CNN, meanwhile, it appears the network rarely — if ever — calls out Democrat Party shenanigans, ergo why the network waited weeks to run a single story about the sexual assault accusations against presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden.
Not one mention? I wonder CNN will explain that. https://t.co/BQg6ECvyIc

And when the network finally did run a story this past Friday, it penned it in a defensive manner, with the headline reading “Democrats grapple with questions about Tara Reade’s sexual assault allegation against Joe Biden” …
And as for the state TV accusation, CNN literally ran China’s state TV content this week. Literally …
“CNN this week published a report copying almost word-for-word a Chinese Communist Party press release praising the People’s Liberation Army Navy’s efforts to contain the coronavirus and degrading the U.S. Navy’s failures to do likewise,” the Washington Examiner reported Wednesday.
Criticism poured in from all sides of the political aisle.
Look:
I’m horrified that CNN published this. Its literally a Chinese propaganda story. “The People’s Liberation Army Navy has done a much better job controlling coronavirus than the US Navy, according to a story posted on the PLA’s English-language website.” https://t.co/PScsaEDdKC

Is @CNN actually publishing this #China Communist Party propoganda as news? https://t.co/ElDgdmA5mp

Wow. CNN article just straight up regurgitated Chinese propaganda. @ShelbyTalcott reports: https://t.co/biSsqrOw7e pic.twitter.com/d2KSiMHP2k

Unvarnished Chinese propaganda, published by CNN. https://t.co/Ed2sBvR5FA

The piece has since been “corrected.”
