CNN aired a virtual town hall Thursday evening on the coronavirus pandemic, and despite an earlier complaint that Vice President Mike Pence’s office wasn’t allowing the nation’s top health officials to appear on the network, the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Robert Redfield, was featured.
Viewers were asked to submit questions for Redfield and it appears that someone fell asleep at the switch in the CNN control room, allowing a question referencing Trump Derangement Syndrome to slip through.
The question was attributed to “James Fox” appeared on the chyron: “Is Stage-4 TDS considered an underlying morbidity?”

Given that “This. Is. CNN.,” a network that’s home to some of the nation’s most rabid sufferers of TDS, the slip is pretty hilarious. Perhaps even funnier than the possibility that someone at the network did not know what the initials stood for.
An example of Stage 4 TDS can be seen below from 2018, in reference to CNN darling Ana Navarro, an alleged “Republican” consumed with hatred for Trump.

Unfortunately, for our entertainment value, town hall hosts Anderson Cooper and Dr. Sanjay Gupta did not present the question to the CDC director.
Not quite as funny is the reality that CNN, a network obsessed with trying to destroy President Trump, appears to exist in a bubble all to itself, oblivious to the reality that millions of Americans can see through the charade that its “the most trusted name in news.”
Trump regularly refers to CNN as the “fake news network,” and more often than not, they live down to the reputation.
That an obsession with undermining the commander in chief continues in a time of a national emergency brought on by the Chinese virus COVID-19, while Americans find themselves in dire circumstances, is another thing entirely.
Here’s a sampling of responses on social media, with more than one user suggesting that the “Stage 4 TDS” question was legitimate.
It is a good question. Stage 4 TDS has NO cure.

Fortunately it’s on @CNN so relatively few people saw it,

It’s a legitimate question though.

I saw that come by a few times. I Can’t stop laughing. “Is Stage 4 TDS an underlying morbidity?”
