MSNBC suspends analyst who trashed Bernie supporters as ‘racist white liberals’ and ‘misfit black girls’

Leftist MSNBC contributor Jason Johnson was suspended after he attacked Bernie Sanders supporters as “racist white liberals” and “an island of misfit black girls.”

Johnson “has been temporarily benched by the network,” according to the Daily Beast. Johnson — who supports Joe Biden — is a virulent Bernie critic who has relentlessly attacked the socialist senator ever since he announced his candidacy.

Jason also despises President Trump, but the media don’t mind those defamatory smears. However, MSNBC drew the line when Johnson trashed black Bernie supporters.

Ironically, Johnson is an editor at the black-centric website The Root and a “journalism” professor at Morgan State University, a predominantly black college.

The brouhaha erupted last week, when Johnson fumed on SiriusXM’s “The Karen Hunter Show:

“I do find it fascinating that racist white liberals seem to love themselves some Bernie Sanders. Consistently. And they always have a problem with any person of color who doesn’t want to follow the orthodoxy of their Lord and Savior Bernie Sanders.

The man cares nothing for intersectionality. And I don’t care how many people from the island of misfit black girls that you throw out there to defend you. It doesn’t mean your campaign is serious!”

The racist rhetoric against “misfit black girls” drew audible gasps of shock and disgust from other guests, who were black women.

Before his suspension, Johnson was a regular on MSNBC who appeared frequently on shows like “Morning Joe,” “Deadline: White House,” “The Beat with Ari Melber,” and The 11th Hour.”

Johnson was suspended shortly after black Bernie supporter Benjamin Dixon — a left-wing podcaster — called him out for smearing Sanders’ army of socialist superfans.

Dixon said: “It’s time to push back against this false narrative that minorities — that African-Americans in particular — are not supporting Bernie Sanders, when in fact, Millennials by a large margin — African-American Millennials — we are supporting Bernie Sanders.”

Dixon continued: “There is a large coalition of people who believe in what he’s trying to do for the working class. Because, quite frankly, there’s a lot of black people who are working-class and not just ‘misfits,’ according to Jason Johnson of your network.”

This is not the first time that MSNBC analysts have smeared Bernie Sanders. This week, MSNBC opinion host Chris Matthews issued a groveling apology to Sanders for comparing the Jewish socialist‘s recent campaign surge to the Nazi conquest of Europe at the beginning of World War II.

Unfortunately, the media have gotten too comfortable trashing anyone they disagree with (especially Trump aides and supporters) as “Nazis.”

Two weeks ago, “Meet the Press” host Chuck Todd got torched on Twitter for reciting a quote from an article that smeared Bernie supporters as a “digital brown-shirt brigade.”

Enraged Bernie Bros demanded Todd’s firing and got the hashtag “Fire Chuck Todd” trending on Twitter.

The Democratic Party is being fractured by a nasty civil war between the far-left faction that supports socialism and the moderates who are alarmed by the radical policies of Dem presidential frontrunner Bernie Sanders.
