Lieutenant Colonel Alexander Vindman — a Soviet-born US Army officer of Ukrainian descent — is being torched by military veterans, who say he’s a “traitor” and a “disgrace” to his uniform.
Benghazi hero Mark Geist — a Marine — slammed the showboating Vindman for suggesting that HE sets U.S. foreign policy toward Ukraine. For the record, the President sets foreign policy, not some mid-level military grunt.
Anyone in the military understands that there is a chain of command — and the POTUS sits at the top. It was that way under Barack Obama, and it’s the same way under Donald Trump.
Geist tweeted: “Vindman is a disgrace to all who have served. [In] transcript of his previous closed-door testimony, he clearly admits to undermining President Trump’s foreign policy and now he has [Adam] Schiff advising him on how to answer questions.”
Geist used the Twitter hashtags: “treason,” “traitor,” “POS,” and “conduct unbecoming.”

Navy SEAL Robert O’Neill — the hero who killed Osama bin Laden — also trashed Alexander Vindman, saying he’s a left-wing political “operative with an agenda.”
I agree. I wish the left wouldn’t use his uniform to make him a saint. He’s an operative with an agenda. https://t.co/b6JfanQ2aQ

Mark Geist and Rob O’Neill were reacting to Vindman’s testimony yesterday (Nov. 19) during the Democrats’ flailing impeachment hearing.
During his bizarre testimony, Vindman rebuked his commander-in-chief, President Trump, by saying that he interpreted Trump’s July phone call with Ukraine’s president as a “demand” to investigate Joe Biden’s corrupt self-dealings.
Vindman’s direct boss, Tim Morrison, testified shortly afterward that Vindman was wrong. Morrison oversaw Russia and Europe policy on the National Security Council before his recent resignation.
Last month, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo — a West Point graduate and an attorney who went to Harvard Law School — said Trump did nothing wrong or inappropriate during his phone call.
Similarly, both Ukraine’s president and its foreign minister have emphatically stated that President Trump made no demands to investigate Biden during the July phone call.
Apparently, Alexander Vindman thinks HE sets US policy toward Ukraine — and not the President of the United States.
You cannot impeach a president because a mid-level military bureaucrat wants to substitute his judgment for that of the duly-elected president.
Yesterday, “The Five” host Greg Gutfeld trashed the sham impeachment as a “freaking joke” that’s wasting everyone’s time and taxpayer money.
“What an absolute tremendous waste of time for everyone who watches this!” Gutfeld remarked. “This is not a hearing. It is a human resources meeting.”

“Understand what you are seeing. It works like this: You are in charge of a department, and a new boss comes in. He needs to establish his stamp and your priorities don’t jive. There is a tug-of-war between sides and the boss always wins.
This is not impeachment. This is what happens in the office. The irony is that the people who work for a living are not here to watch this to laugh at it.
The media thinks it is important because they have never managed anything. They have never been an incoming boss. So they are tricked into thinking that this is something important, when this is something that happens every single day in everyone’s business. It’s a freaking joke!”
