Instagram influencers applauded for sharing relatable bikini snaps to prove ‘everybody bloats’

Two of the biggest Instagram bikini influencers in Australia have decided that they are going to love their bodies no matter what the haters and trolls say.

A large part of being popular on social media sites like Instagram is having a body to die for. Whether it’s natural or edited, everyone wants smooth skin, curves, and a deep, rich tan. But Ariella Nyssa and Karina Irby prove that you don’t have to be mannequin-perfect to feel good about yourself. Their relatable snaps show that cellulite, bloating, and loving your body can all go hand-in-hand.

A photo of the two women boasts colorful bikinis and an empowering message: You are beautiful, even if you’re bloated!

“Wait you don’t think bloating is cute?” Nyssa asks in the caption. “NEWS FLASH: bloating is normal and just because I don’t have a six pack doesn’t mean I’m not beautiful. Just because I don’t have a flat stomach all day everyday doesn’t mean I have to feel “embarrassed” or “ashamed” of my body. You bloat, I bloat, EVERYBODY BLOATS! Don’t you dare feel inferior for it.”

In keeping with the “no six pack” theme, the pair posted another snap showing off their “little bellies.”

Karina Irby is on a similar self-love crusade and posted side-by-side photos of herself after gaining 22 pounds. Despite the pressure she put on herself to keep her “teenager look,” Irby now says that she’s “never felt better” about herself.

NATURAL TRANSFORMATION. This morning Facebook notified me of a memory from 9 years ago. I was so shocked to see how tiny I used to be when I was a teenager! I remembered that as my body was maturing I was gaining weight, curves and more fake reasons to feel self conscious about my appearance. HELLO BOOBS, BUTT, HIP AND THIGHS ? I used to put so much pressure on myself to try and keep my teenager look but not only was it unhealthy, it just wasn’t in the cards for me. 54KGS to 64KGS and I’ve never felt better about myself mentally and physically. What I’m trying to say is stop being so hard on yourself. You’re body is beautiful and it’s keeping you alive! Worship the heck out of it! I wish I did sooner??

Despite the hateful comments that can be seen on their posts, there were many comments from women who look up to these two.

“Hopefully this will start helping women not feel ashamed of whatever their body looks like,” said a user named bdtripplej2018.

“Thank you so much for posting this!! I haven‘t been giving my belly a lot of love lately, quite the opposite to be honest, it feels really good to see a belly like mine,” opined user liiiisaaaaloovee.

“Girl I just smiled so big this is my belly currently and I looovvesss itttt,” squealed user theroamingsmurf.
